Landmarks:

The Dunes
The Dunes is a vast space of hot desert land, sand as far as the eye can see. It is hot here, and there is little to no water. There is also little prey, usually small rodents or lizards. Rarely, a wolf may catch small birds, ibexes, or gazelles. The middle is the hottest part, the outskirts of it are warmer. However, what makes this a semi decent hunting place is that there are absolutely no predators, nothing that the wolves must watch their back for. Lone wolves also rarely stray here, as it is hard to survive, especially alone.

The Darklands
The Darklands are a large group of trees combining to make a forest. They get their name from how dark it is always in there from under the cover of the treetops, aka shade, usually making it cool. Caribou, elk, deer, and moose live there. Once again, the darkest yet most sinister part of it is near the center. That is called the Dark Spot. It is where Grizzly bears and Black bears live. They (obviously) leave that area somewhat often, but their homes are there. However, the greenery there is most lush so there is the largest amount of prey there.

Grazills. (Grazing-Hills, pronounced Gray-zills)
Grazills are huge green slopes, a moor, if you will, where there is barely any cover. Hares, beavers, bison, and moose are common prey who reside there. However, while it may seem like the perfect place-good weather, good prey, little predators- this attracts others. Rogue wolves. There are several rogue wolves lurking in the Grazills, and they are not friendly (most of them). Are you willing to take the risk?

Mount Sky Range
The Mount Sky Range is a range of mountains, 6 of them (Cloud, Sun, Sky, Air, Water, and Snow). Mount Sky is the tallest, named for reaching the heights of the sky. Each mountain is unique. Water has the most amount of water, Snow is the coldest, Sky is the highest, Sun is the warmest, Cloud is the biggest, and Air is the smallest. Mountain sheep, bison, and ox live on all the mountains. However, so do Polar bears, Grizzly bears, and tigers. Tigers are very rarely seen, and they usually keep to themselves, but if you see one, you are almost certainy doomed. They are like the combined force of 3 polar bears (the second most fearsome predator). They are not only strong, but lithe.

Spread throughout all lands but the Mount Sky Range are foxes, coyotes, and hyenas, but they are not as drastic predators as bears and tigers.

In The Base:

There are several landmarks within the base. (Base=Camp) The base consists of The Den, The Playpen (which is inside The Den), the Mearing, the Glade, and the Training Areas.

The Den:

A huge sleeping area for all the wolves, it is split apart and all the ranks sleep together with wolves of that rank. Puppers, Pups, Learners, and Alpha reside near back for safety. Soldiers are at front. They protect the pack. The Pack may shelter there on cold winter days.

The Playpen:
A playing area for pups and young learners, located by a secret exit from The Den, if ever the pack needs to evacuate, they evacuate from there. Has toys (sticks and moss balls and stuff). It is in the very back of The Den.

The Glade:
A vast clearing where wolves sun themselves, relax, and converse in the warmth. This is where all non serious business takes place.

The Mearing
The Mearing is where "meetings" are held. Although they don't call them meetings, they call them Summonings. To call a summoning, the Alpha howls. All wolves must leave wherever they are and go to the Mearing and join the howl until the Alpha stops. Then they must all stop howling as well. The Alpha sits on a high rock, and other First Circle members sit on other rocks below, facing the rest of the pack. Each first circle member has a specific rock, they don't just go to whatever rock is available. The Mearing is also where First Circle meetings are held. To call one, the Alpha has a special howl. Other members of the pack are allowed to watch at a distance unless otherwise told not to. But they are not allowed to speak during one. Speaking is punishable by death.

Remember, wolves are not cats. They will be more ruthless, savage, and lethal.

Bloodwolf stretched, yawning. It was a nice day out, she could tell, even from being this far back in The Den. She stood up, shaking any left over moss from her fur. She lifted her nose, smelling the air, making sure everything was fine. She had a big day ahead of her today, as she would be calling a Summoning. But not yet. She shall let the others get their rest. For now, though, she should go talk to somebody. Being alpha was lonely, and she had only recently become it. She walked over to The Playpen, noticing Winterhowl sitting alone.

"Hello there," she said, beautfiul voice soothing. "How are you today, Winterhowl? I notice you've been spending a lot of time by The Playpen as of recent," she said, smiling with a knowing look.

Bloodwolf congratulated her. "That's great that you're expecting! The Pack needs more fresh wolves. That's excellent." She smiled, thinking that maybe, finally, for once, her life was looking up.
