Elkgrowl huffed, picking leaves from his fur. After his walk, and coming back to hear about how that huge patrol fared, left him in an incredibly sour mood.

A groan escaped her mouth as she took in the smell of the Elder's den. Ew, Old smell. The old smell wasn't a thing, but Nettlepaw complained nonetheless.

Nettlepaw froze in place, glaring at the elders. How am I even supposed to clean this dump? Nettlepaw never had to clean a day in her life. Never mind clean out a whole den. But here she was, stuck in this nasty dump people call the 'Elders den.' Being confined to camp sucked.

Nettlepaw hastily ran around the elder's den, dusting untouched corners and replacing old moss with new moss. It was a tiring and unwanted experience for Nettlepaw. When Nettlepaw was finally finished, she scrambled out of there as fast as possible before some old hag had the time to ask her something.

Sparkkit wiggled into the elders den and huffed at the smell. old cats smelled bad- but they knew a lot. he sneezed as he looked around for some-cat to tell him a story, a story of something, even the star cats. he only heard little stories from his mother before she died, she trained him well for battle but not the star cats...

Elkgrowl stretched, missing all the commotion outside. When he woke up later, he would indeed find himself in quite the shock once he got word of Fallownose's passing, and Hollowfoot's exile.

He sat in the den, dejected. For all of his life, he had just wanted to spend his time with Lilypelt and his kits. Now, the last kit living he had, had been exiled...

He laid his head down, and stared. Eventually as the day went on, his eyes closed, and he felt the wind from long ago take him away. He thought of all the times he snapped at Hollowfoot with remorse. What had been so caring or fatherly about criticizing everything he did? The memories ran up with the wind that went into the den to carry him away, as his breath faded.

It was a regretful end, he wanted to have done so much more.
