Larkwing is a RiverClan warrior who was known for her humor and laid back nature. She was the cat you’d go to if you wanted a laugh or to get up to some small trouble. However, since the flood that ruined their camp, followed in quick succession by both the battle for Cattail Pond against ThunderClan and The Queen’s Revenge battle against WindClan, Larkwing’s happy-go-lucky nature has faded away, and she’s grown up very quickly, abandoning the more apprentice like traits and mellowing out quite a bit.

She was appointed Deputy by Gingerstar at 17 moons and vowed to do her best and do right by her clan, fearing what may have happened if there was someone else with this position. Despite her initial anxiety and hesitance to take the roll, she still accepted. Along with this role, came the paranoia that every cat around her thinks that she's unsuited for it and doing an awful job, plus the fear that they all think she's lying to them because of how Beanstar(sprout) had made Gingerstar(then, Gingerfrost) lie to the clan about his leader's lives and name. Yet, despite this paranoia, she thought she was doing decently well... and then, not even a moon later, Gingerstar died from a heart attack, claiming his only two lives.

Larkwing was the one who found him, and she stared in abject horror for more than a few seconds before confirming he was dead and running, panic stricken, to her brother, Falconfeather, the clan's medicine cat to plead with him to tell her how he had died. Falcon told her he had a heart attack, and Lark, having no reason not to believe him, took him at his word and informed the clan despite her terror at how they'd react. She doesn't think she's ready to be a leader, but she'll do what she must... and with the ancient RiverClan medicine cat, Magpiewisp, wispering in her ear, giving her neither lives nor her official name as leader, it's unclear just how far she might be forced to go.

Only a few moons into her leadership, she was constantly suffering from paranoia, stemming from some of the cats in her clan not trusting her and even an attempt made on her life. With only a pawful of cats she could trust, her condition worsened and worsened until she left one evening in January, intending to go for a swim to clear her head. Rather than a swim, she slipped into the freezing cold river and slammed her head into a rock, earning herself a concussion. She washed ashore some distance away, only to immediately find herself in the territory of a badger, who attacked her and injured her back leg. Disoriented and hurt, she fled away from clan territory.

For a while, she was alone, overcome with guilt and anxiety and still injured badly, with just enough sense to know she should keep her wound clean. Eventually, however, a barn cat named Humphrey stumbled upon her, weak and starving and injured, and brought her to lay low in his barn for some time where he kept an eye on her. While there, her mother, Lilyfrost, visits her in a dream...

After about three moons of staying with Humphrey, Lark decides she's finally ready to try her paw at rejoining her clan, though it doesn't go the way she planned it to. Initially, she thinks she can do it, but gets cold feet at the last second before she turns and tries to head back into the outskirts. What she doesn't expect to come across, though, is a violent rogue chasing a small kit with intent to kill.

Dilute tortie with very smooth, sleek fur, perfect for keeping the water out when fishing or swimming, and large green eyes. She has a scar across her nose from ThunderClan's attack on Cattail Pond, a scar on her side from an assassination attempt, and a scar on her flank from a badger.
her posture is rigid and tense, constantly on edge.

Pebblepaw is someone who's deeply insecure and unsure, constantly questioning in their head if they're doing the right thing or if they should have done something differently. Every action is constantly shadowed by fear and doubt which leads to indecision and frustration on the part of others. In tough situations, they are the embodiment of the "freeze" reaction, rooted to the spot and unable to do anything, this is the only time where their mind is truly blank because they just can't seem to get a single thought around the boulder of fear.

They take criticism very hard and have been branded as somewhat of a crybaby. Due to this, they’ve felt like an outcast from the moment they had conscious thought, and have drawn away as a result, leading them to be fairly anti social. Also resulting from this withdrawn and anti social nature, Pebblepaw tends to be more passive, usually ok with being told what to do and submissive to anyone who speaks louder than them, and even if they weren’t ok with what they were being told, they’re not one to tell you that, instead they suffer in silence.

Despite this, Pebblepaw will be very supportive if you worm your way into their heart, encouraging you quietly and perhaps not verbally, but they’ll absolutely be cheering in their head! Don’t expect them to be good in a fight, though, or even willing to fight, because nine times out of ten, they’ll back down right away.

a big kit with an even bigger personality! Wavekit will be the first to tell you about any gossip going on in the clan! She doesn't mind sneaking around conversing warriors or elders when they talk in hushed tones, ready to soak in all the juicy details and rely them to his siblings. Because of this, he's learned to bat her big, sad eyes and pout her way out of trouble by looking lost and innocent. While that might work the first few times, it won't be long until she needs to start thinking of new and clever ways to get himself out of trouble!!
As he gets older, Wave will lean more into the snarky, gossipy personality. She'll be a cat who carries grudges and will look to get revenge on those who he views have wronged her.

Willowkit grows up knowing that her real mother is gone, that she died bringing her into the world. The other queens take care of her, but they make no secret of how her real mother passed, and Willowkit doesn’t want to blame herself, but some days she finds herself sad that she was born. If she hadn’t been born, RiverClan would not have lost a good cat. If she hadn’t been born, perhaps the other queens would not look on her with such pity, perhaps the other kits in the nursery would not think of her as just another body here. Maybe they could have been friends.

Willowpaw is kind. She always asks others how they’re doing, and she always sits with the cat who’s by themself, with no others by their side. Willowpaw thinks her mentor isn’t super impressed with her, especially her fighting. It’s not her fault, though! She’d never been a fighter, not really! Even in the nursery, she didn’t wrestle with the other kits, she just stayed out of their way. It’s not in her nature to fight. She’d rather take in the scenery, sniff at the flowers and pick a few she knows may be useful.

Willowwisp is honored for her kindness and her integrity. She has kept her kind demeanor, and still asks others how they are when she sees them, says hello to passing patrols, and tries to make everyone feel welcome. It’s the least she can do. Fighting is still something she struggles with morally, always feeling guilt pool in the very pit of her stomach if she even so much as bumps into another cat. Perhaps she’s not cut out to be a warrior, their job always ends up with fights and Willowwisp just isn’t cut out for that. Still, her home is here, and she can help in ways that don’t involve fighting, so she does.

quick witted and eager to prove herself, Lichenpaw is... a handful. Often rushing into danger or uncertain situations before she's scouted ahead fully or assessed for any danger. Due to this, Lichen often will find herself getting in trouble, cleaning dens by herself or taking care of the elders all day as punishment - among other things. Though she's slowly going half blind, Lichen isn't at all slowed down by this, she's had about half her vision ever since her birth, after all, she doesn't know any other way to see. Argumentative but not ill intentioned, Lichenpaw will often find herself on the receiving end of a scolding or two, but that never stops her from repeating the same behavior again.

Her eyes are clear blue and don't work the best, seeing as she's half blind in one (birth defect) and that eye will likely lose all ability to see that it still retains now by the time she reaches 20-30 moons.

Aster grew up for his first few moons in a two-leg house with his mother and several siblings. A litter of siamese, Aster was the only flame point out of the bunch, similar to his father, though he’d never meet him. The two-legs often let the kittens and their mother outside to play, and Aster took to the outside world faster and more innately than his siblings did. Eventually, he’d disappear for the whole day and only return, albeit reluctantly, when the house folk and his mother called for him. For as long as he remembered, his mother would tell stories of wild cats in the forest who fought and hunted for their food and led a terrifying life. She had probably meant for these stories to deter her overly adventurous son from exploring the woods, but all they managed to do was light a fire under Aster’s paws. Perhaps if she taught him to mind his manners and be polite that would dim the spark she had often thought to herself, trying to teach him proper manners as much as she could, but it didn’t deter her son at all, he just learned to be more polite to others as well as foster an adventurous spirit.

On the eve of his 6th moon, Aster had been out in the woods exploring. He wandered further than he’d ever gone before, and didn’t have the skills necessary to find his way back to the house he grew up in, so he made a decision: if those forest cats were real, he was going to find them and he was going to prove so useful that they’d have to keep him! —only if they want him, of course.

A cheerful, happy-go-lucky cat in ShadowClan, SlugBelly is an odd sight. He’s always happy to help and finds himself to be quite the hopeless romantic, falling head over paws for almost any pretty kitty who’s kind to him (or even if they’re mean to him! He’s not hard to impress!)

Although his hunting isn’t the greatest, SlugBelly makes up for that with his battle know-how and prowess, liking to host classes with apprentices despite having none of his own - though he would like to some day. For now, though, SlugBelly is happy enough just serving his clan and doing his best!

Hollow is cold in nature, often keeping others at an arm's length and unwilling to let them in. It’s unclear how snake came to be this way, considering both snake’s parents love him very much (even if one of them is dead), but maybe it’s just a combination of his natural state and the high expectations on his shoulders causing him to view all failure as weakness and undesirable, and any vulnerable emotion as something that isn’t beneficial.

Yet, bits of his softer side seep through the cracks in this facade of his, and it’s not uncommon to find it cuddled up with either its mom or siblings. Hollow can be… a little sensitive. They don’t always show it, often, they prefer to keep this undesirable aspect of them hidden away where no one will know it exists, but criticism really gets to snake and will stick with snake for a long time. Everything stays with him, from the smallest thing to the biggest thing, all bottled up until the day he just explodes and is left… hollow.
