Silverkit had snuck out with her friend Poolkit. Poolkit hadn't wanted to but didn't want Silverkit to go alone.

Poolkit heard Silverkit giggle next to her,"what is it?" She asked. Then Silverkit told her that they had snuck out undetected at sunhigh!

Poolkit jumped and spun around. She flattened herself to the ground,"I-I'm sorry..." She glanced at Silverkit who froze and looked like she was about to confess, so Poolkit sighed inwardly,"I'm sorry... I-it was my idea..."

"No, I mean why are you standing on that part of the cliff?" Crimsonpaw replied while backing away.

"It's not st-." Before she could finish, the cliff began to crumble.

(The idea is to have my character save yours, and maybe even vice versa)

Silverkit's eyes widened,"w-wha-?" And enforce she could do anything, something shoved her out of the way. Silverkit turned around to see Pollkit, the cliff crumbling under her,"Poolkit!" She yelled as the cliff gave way. She could see the terror in Poolkit's eyes.

"You, go and get help. I'll take care of this." The adolescent she cat told Silverkit.

Since Poolkit was only a lot, her agility was not as fine tuned. She held on the cliff edge with her paws, but she lacked the strength to pull herself up. She scrabbled at the edge with her hind legs, but to no avail.

Poolkit was barely hanging on and pretty soon she lost grip with her right front paw and her left back paw lost a claw in her struggle.

Silverkit stopped and slowly trotted back.

Crimsonpaw watched as the kit regained her grip with her right front paw, but lost her footing altogether, leaving her hanging on to the cliff edge with nothing but her front paws.

Silverkit was too shocked to do anything but watch.

(Now would be a good time for Poolkit to say the obvious thing...)

At first Poolkit was too shocked to speak,"Help!!!!" She screeched as she regained her voice,"Silverkit!!!!!!! Crimsonpaw!!!"
