She was already plotting her victory retort in her head as she sailed towards Theodore. What she hadn't anticipated was him recognizing her moves. With a screech, she landed face first where he had been, frost being shoved into her nose and ears. Splitstorm scrambled to her paws and ignored the stinging on her cheek - most likely a scrape from the Thunderpath. "You haven't tasted real battle until it's been at the claws of a seasoned Clan warrior," she spat, officially over this whole interaction.

She'd teach him a thing or two about Clan cats, how they fought, and then ditch his annoying self for the coyotes. Let them take care of the rest.

Amateur move. Willingly, she allowed the tom to slam into her, easily taking the blow in stride and using the momentum to spring away from him away from his sweeping paws. It left her a bit winded, but she'd rest when she was away from this retched excuse for a cat. Briefly she was reminded of how hard she had been trained by her mentor, and a grin came to her face.

Using her speed once more, she zig-zagged towards him, darting right at the last second and lashing out a claw aiming to slash into his flank before she darted away, springing a few steps before turning to face him to create space to be on the defensive incase he countered her attack.

By mere luck, Theodore avoided the blow by ducking to catch his breath, a bit shaken, he stopped for a moment before hissing,
“If that’s a seasoned clan Warrior then I think I’ll be fine!”
He snarled and shot a paw at her face, hoping to claw her on the snout.

➳ Splitstorm

Fur bristling even more, the spit-fire she-cat hissed in disgust. He was taunting her more? Had he not learned by now? "Keep running your trap and-" she snorted before a flash of fur caught her attention.

A flare of pain ran up her nose and made her wince, tears springing to her eyes. "Urgh, enough!" she spat, stomping her claws on the ground.

She'd had enough. Anger boiled under her skin and she knew without backup that this tom might actually pose a threat to her, much as she hated to admit it. "You better watch your back, outsider scum. If I cross paths with you again, I won't be as forgiving as I am now." One last hiss in his direction before she turned and sprinted back in the direction of the ThunderClan camp.

One day... Splitstorm vowed to track Theodore down once more and avenge this battle.

She'd show him.

Theodore’s lips twisted into a smile as she retreated, he flexed his bloodied claws,
“That’s right, Splittie, you better run!”
He backed into the shadows, a his smile still intact.
Seasoned Warrior? Hah! More like seasoned failure!
