Without the Rivers, the Forest will run dry

There have always been five Clans in the end, and many argue that it needs to stay that way to keep the balance. But after the recent gathering it’s only stirred up trouble between the Clans again, and has resulted in Shinefang physically assaulting Fallenstar. The medicine cats have never been seriously divided before, but after that Daydream feels the need to say something. So they do, they tell Shinefang how it wasn't his right to yell at Fallenstar the way he did, but Shinefang disagrees. He claims that RiverClan needs to be more grateful of their cats, and need to be taught a lesson, specifically with war. Shinefang doesn't want to listen to Daydream’s voice of reason, and neither does Flashpaw, taking his side too. The other medicine cats divide between the two.

The medicine cats have a half moon meeting to try and bring things together. Things are tense between them, no small talk or kind greetings anymore. Eventually, each of them goes to sleep, and they all see the same dream. They are in what looks like to be RiverClan’s territory. There is a large river that seems to be glowing and perfectly clear. Until slowly, it starts to drain, until it is dry, and there’s dead fish all on the ground. The trees around them start to wilt, the grass growing brown and the forest dying around them. A dead fish seems to flop towards Shinefang in particular, looking in his eyes with the words, “Without the rivers, the forest will run dry.”

After this vision they collectively decide that they must tell their leaders and deputies about their dream, and that they think it has something to do with RiverClan. ShadowClan & WindClan, and possibly SkyClan leaders ignore this dream, thinking that it means something like a drought, not to deal with RiverClan. Mainly because all three of them are fed up with Fallenstar’s actions. All the deputies disagree though, looking from a more objective point of view since they don’t dislike Fallenstar that much.

WindClan, ShadowClan, and possibly SkyClan declare war on RiverClan without their deputies approval. ThunderClan remains neutral, but relatively isn’t shocked by this, it’s been a long time coming. The next sunrise, all three Clans gather together at Seastones to talk. During this the deputies talk briefly and find out that they all seem to disagree with their leaders. During the battle the deputies stay back, shocked that they’ve driven RiverClan out of their territory.

RiverClan runs to the Dusk Syndicates old territory, and right next to SkyClan instead.

After the war things are still tense, and there are little skirmishes here and there of course. But besides that there is still that unsatisfied feeling with the deputies, and it seems like they aren't alone. The deputies of ALL Clans works with their medicine cats and talk about the dream more, and find cats that feel the same as them, just wanting peace and to go home.

During this time the deputies work with the medicine cats to find other cats in their Clan who also want peace, holding secret meetings in their territory, outside of the territory, or even at the Starcave sometimes so their leader doesn't catch them working against them. Eventually, some deputies are caught and demoted and replaced temporarily. Medicine cats have also been caught working with their deputies too if you so chose, and may face the consequence of being restricted, not being able to go anywhere without an escort to prevent plotting. Though even without the deputies and medicine cats, peace rallies still happen in secret.

There’s tension between the new SkyClan and RiverClan border and SkyClan sends a patrol to try and drive them away a bit and less close to their border. During this they raid RiverClan’s makeshift camp, and during this a warrior attempts to attack a queen in the nursery, accidentally stepping and killing a kit in the process.

All peacemakers hear of this Clan wide and only cause them to rise up - because now an innocent kit has been killed. Fallenstar is enraged with SkyClan, and all of the Clans, and wants revenge. So, he declares war at Seastones the next morning. The peacemakers prepare.

The battle comes and RiverClan are expected to fight alongside ThunderClan against SkyClan, WindClan, and ShadowClan for their home. That’s what was planned, when actually it turns into a battle of the cats who support the leaders, the life of war and with only four Clans in the forest, against the peacemakers. The deputies rise up and fight with the peacemakers, and even going against some of their own Clan-mates.

Eventually, the peacemakers win, and it is clear what the Clans want. Eventually, the leaders lead RiverClan back to their territory and restore the original deputies.

So there’s the newest site wide plot!

The only specific role that needs filling is the queen and kit, and the warrior that kills the kit. Mind you, the kit will die, so we’ll be pairing the queen with the kit as a temporary relation. @starfall & @Celestial will have choosing powers over who gets the roles of queen and kit and posting a separate form for them, and @Duskflight of the warrior who kills them. If you ARE picked you MUST fufill your role when it is your turn to post, or else you’ll simply be dropped and we’ll move on as if you did your job.
