The Pack

Winter Night padded out of her cave and stretched in the sun-dogs warm light. She then preceded to walk out of the camp and into the forest. scenting around she found squirrel scents, following them she spotted the squirrel as it nibbled on an acorn. She began creep on the squirrel and pounced hearing a loud crunch as the prey's body was crushed under her weight. Picking the squirrel back up she headed back to camp eager to eat her catch. Winter Night sat down as she camp back into camp and started to eat her meal. Its very lonely here, since I've ran away from my old pack. They wouldn't have understood why, I just didn't fit in there. I made the best decision to leave. But the life of a lone dog is very lonely, I hope I can find another pack soon, but it has been months since I saw any dog...

Drizzle looked under the underbrush,still unable to find food.'Why didn't I have a Wolf's hunting skills?Or Atleast someone to teach me how to do it better.' he thought,backing out of it and shaking some dead grass off of his nose.

Winter Night shifted laying down after her small breakfast. the she scented something foreign. what is that? I better see and drive it out of my territory. Winter Night stood up and padded out into the forest a second time before spotting what appears to be a wolf like dog. WOLF, is there anymore of them or is this one alone!? turning back and forth she didn't scent anymore before she settled down. Its just this one, I'll just drive it away and that'll be that. The Great Pryenees stepped out of the bushes and growled in warning. "What are you doing here Wolf!?" She growled lowly in warning.

He looked at her,and then understood who she was referring to."I'm not a wolf for one,and two it's kind of greedy to have all of this land for yourself with no pack." He said,but backed up a step so he didn't look like he would attack.

Winter Night relaxed her body. "If your not a wolf why do you look like one. And I wanted to find a pack but I haven't seen any dog in months." she barked.

"I'm part wolf.My dad was a wolf." He explained.'And a great dad he was.' he wanted to add sarcastically, but didn't want to seem bad,so he didn't."If your looking for a pack,I can help you look for members." He said.

Winter Night waged her tail "sure, you can be my beta then!" she barked happily
