personality (7-9 sentences) ; cinderfreeze is not a bad cat. he is a very complicated cat, with issues, this does not make him bad, or dangerous. in fact, cinderfreeze isn't mean, he's on the colder side, keeping his responses short and straight to the point, and a little shut off from others for reasons – but they are not mean. ambitious, cinderfreeze has a strong desire to succeed and fulfill his own goals in life. he's rather responsible despite their young age, and doesn't try to run away from their duties or problems. he's protective over those he loves, and would do anything for someone he deeply cares about. he's a good listener, or tries to be, at least. it's the thought that counts.

however, having somniphobia has deeply affected cinderfreeze. a fear of sleep causes him to try to stay up as long as he physically can, resulting in brain fog. more often than not, the tom is lost in his thoughts or on the brink of falling asleep. this fear has also caused stress, on top of psychological stress which has made his emotions high. his temper has drawn short, and the tom seems to cry or snap at the drop of a hat. having dealt with paranoia for quite a few moons, the sleep deprivation has made their symptoms worse. this has caused him to become paranoid of those around him, as he is convinced that there is someone out to get him. this paranoia causes him to try and isolate himself from others.

appearance ; cinderfreeze is a lithe, dark grey, short haired tom. despite being thin, he has a considerate amount of muscle. he has lighter grey and white markings covering the right side of his face. he has light blue eyes. he has no visible scars except for a small one that runs across his lip.

major/key events in history ;
– born in riverclan as ashenkit.
– relatively normal kithood, made an apprentice at 6 moons, named ashenpaw.
– at 10 moons old, ashenpaw and another (older) apprentice sneak out of camp at night to explore the territory.
– nearing the edge of the territory, they run into 3 loners who trespassed.
– loners end up attacking the duo, ashenpaw escapes and hides in a fallen log with only a scratch on his lip after the older apprentice tells him to run.
– from his hiding spot, ashenpaw witnesses the older apprentice get murdered by the group of loners.
– traumatized, this experience eventually leads to his somniphobia due to it all happening at night. he drags the apprentice's body to camp once the loners leave.
– changed his name to cinderpaw after associating his name with the horrible experience
– somniphobia and developing symptoms of severe paranoia delays his training, resulting in him becoming a warrior at 14 moons.
