hailscare padded out of his den and yawned, it wasnt to long ago he had woken up.

midnight was curled up asleep next to her mother.

storm was also asleep next to her kits. secret watched her kits from the darker side of the black tree. the black tree had a small opening only a cat could get in one by one. the inside was huge and hollow which she had made into a home for her.

glitch was asleep in a small fluffball

Cheshires ears twitched she was laying on a tree branch she spotted hailscare and her head tilted then she smiled her tail hung off the branch
" hailscare " she greeted then she looked outward her ears twitched again along with her whiskers she yawned as well @Aphmau plushie

The silver grey she cat smiled and stood up she stretched with another yawn
" better then I would have done alone .." she meowed her tail flicked and she licked her right paw then she looked at him her brown eyes shined a bit
" everything been good? " she asked curiously

Adder awoke from her sleep and stood up groggily. The day felt cold and the slight breeze told her the weather was probably going to rain in a couple days. Her paws thudded against the hard-packed earth and she could hear the whispered mews of cats talking, Chesire and Hailscare. Adder padded over to Hailscare. Her wings dropped as she went and her snake slithered ahead, silently directing her to the cat. It wasn't too long ago that she had lost her sight and she was still getting used to the total darkness that continued to envelope the world. She finally reached Hailscare and dipped her head in respect, her voice rasped as she said, "Hello, Hailscare. Is there anything needed to be done today?" Her voice held an undertone of danger to it. The rasping sound disguising the violence that could be contained in her words. She sat down and wrapped her long, white, snake-like tail around her feet. The feathers facing away from her. As Adder waited for Hailscare's response she went through her memories. Saw her father beating her mother, his claws unsheathed and violently ripping into her fur, blood spraying everywhere. She saw her own fangs, plunging into her father's throat. She saw her brother, staring at her with a shocked expression before fleeing. She never saw him again until the one night when she lost her other eye to his claws.

"everything has been good" he said before turning his head towards adder, "morning adder, the only thing needed is hunting patrols along with making sure the borders are patrolled and there is no threat within our borders" he replied

Cheshire smiled and her left ear twitched she leaped off the branch landed on her paws with ease her tail flicked as her ears perked up listening in on hailscare and tilted her head . She hummed and sat down now scratching her right ear stood back up again and blinked
" I can go hunt if that will make things easier " she meowed her whiskers twitched with excitement she hasn't been hunting in a day or so and she's been restless .
