"Come on, let's go." Minnie led Crackle and Stone back to the house. When they got to the fence, she stopped. "My housefolk shouldn't be here right now. They'll be back later." The she-cat told her.

A cat with dark blue eyes and a black pelt padded by the twoleg nests, marveling at one nest in particular, which next to it had a patch with many different colored flowers in it. He decided to get a better look, padding over to the fence surrounding it and jumping on to it. He didn't notice the other cats near the twoleg nest, seeing as all his attention was on the flowers and how beautiful they were.

Minnie glanced into the garden and saw the tom walking around. "Hey! Who are you?" She hopped up onto the fence and sat down. "I've never seen you around." The she-cat added.

He jumped a bit as he heard the she-cat, scaring him a bit as he didn't know she was there. "Oh, sorry! Am I in your territory? Sorry!" He meowed genuinely. "I just saw these beautiful flowers and came to have a look." The she-cat didn't look like she would hurt him, so he decided to answer her questions. "I'm Shadow. I was passing by when I noticed the flowers."
