Twistedpaw let out a small purr, her frazzled whiskers twitching, before glancing down at her mouse nervously. She didn't want to look like a featherbrain in front of them. However, hunger drove her on, and she took a small, crooked bite. As she chewed, slobbery prey went everywhere and she ducked her head in embarrassment, barely able to swallow. Licking her lips and her sore jaw, she didn't look up, embarrassed.
"Heh... eating's a pain," she purred.

Then she nodded at Birchpaw before focusing her gaze back on her paws.

Wolfwhisper looked at Curlpaw when he asked the question. Her blank gaze settled on him. Seriously? That was what he wanted to know? There was a simple answer but why should she answer it? Also did he just ask Dawnpaw’s favorite color? Heh. She had a good remark to that. It had nothing to do with training. “That’s a tangent.” She figured the apprentice would get confused but she wasn’t going to explain it. It wasn’t important in the slightest and she couldn’t care less if his question got answered.

The calliby's big ears shot up as his name was called. Grinning widely he hopped up and b-lined for Wolfbound, once again not slamming on the breaks. However as she walked forwards he missed and skidded past. Sliding against the dirt on his rump the Apprentice swiveled his head and gave his mentor a pout, although he doubted she actually noticed.

However his dissapointment in not hopping onto his Mentor quickly dissapated as he realized that this was his actual first patrol! Well...he could consider Coyotesnarl's secret assignment for him and his mentor and those other weird cats an official patrol, but this was given by the Deputy, there for...er...therefor 2 out of 3?

He lost his train of thought as he scampered after the Warriors. There weren't too many of those see through strangers out and about, so a lot less dodging and weaving through invisible friends this time around. Which made Peonypaw nervous. Once again, however, this thought was forgotten as he watched his mentor sit herself down. A toothy grin bloomed on his face, awkwardly crouching down the Calliby once again made a mad dash for the Molly, hoping to headbutt her in a sort of...was it going to be a tackle hug?

Dawnkit played with the moss ball that she had been playing with and stopped for a moment, watching the other kits with their mothers. She felt a bit of pain inside but she shrugged and continued playing with the moss ball.
