Pondwhisker ambled his way from the warriors den, the cold making him feel older than he was.

Flintfang crept over to the Streamstone, settling down a little ways behind Silverpaw so he could keep an eye on her throughout the meeting. Somewhere not so far away, Flintfang was oblivious to the fact that his littermate had almost choked on a snowflake.

Slatestripe lifted his head from his nest at Pikestar’s call for a meeting. Of course he has to call a meeting today, when the weather is absolute dung, he thought dejectedly. Sighing, he got to his paws and padded out of the warriors’ den.

At first, he tried to sit in the back of the crowd, wanting to escape easily once the meeting was over. But, he couldn’t see past the big head of the cat in front of him. Sighing at his own small stature, Slatestripe moved to the side of the crowd.

Ah…mr Pikestar is here? Fishkit bounced out of the nursery.

Mintpaw was already out when Pikestar called the clan for a meeting. She had covered her favorite, hidden spot with some leaves to keep the ground from freezing her paws; she loved watching the snow. She raised her gaze at the gray sky, cherishing every single snowflake even as they gently set on her fur.

She shook her head to free her whiskers from the weight of them.
Pikestar was a gray, blurred silhouette against the background, but his voice sounded strong and clear in the silence of leaf-bare.
The icy breeze brought to her nose the scents of his clanmates: he could distinguish Slatestripe's scent among them. She turned to identify the dark warrior, who had also sat down at the edge of the clearing.

LILYCREEK

She left the nursery after Fishkit, her tail swishing through the air. Fog. She cursed internally. She hated fog, or anything that could potentially impair her vision. Still, she dragged herself to the Streamstone, feeling sticky and slightly damp.

BLUEBELLPAW + KESTRELPAW

The pair of Riverclan cousins padded their way to the Streamstone after Pikestar's call.

Blegh, Bluebellpaw thought. The weather was simply dreadful. Why couldn't there be sun, or fluffy clouds, or even rain? At least the water would wash away the blues.

Kestrelpaw grumped beside her cousin, feeling apprehensive. Fog was always distracting to her. Sure, other things were problematic, but she could make them go away, so they weren't really problems. But how did one make fog go away?

Beetlekit ran out of the nursey and squeeled when he felt the snow land on his head, "POKESTAR! THERE IS SNOW!" he yelled loudly, not even noticing the fog as he tried to catch the snow that was falling from the sky. Not doing so successfully but that didn't matter to him, he just wanted to eat the snow!!

Fogcloud slinked from the warriors den, tail flicking as the felt some snow land on their head and noticing the thick fog that seemed to blanket the camp. They hummed softly as the joined the rest of the clanmates.

Cicadapaw walked over, sitting down near the edge of the collection of clanmates. They didn't want to get in the way of others seeing as the thick fog made it hard to see.

Goosehonk honked as he joined the rest of the clan.

Stagkit

There was that call again! The brown and white kit flew up from his nest when he heard Pikeleader say those same words again. Pikeleader had said the same thing during the clan meeting, so that must mean it was time for another one!

Stagkit had spent the whole day inside, but as he rushed outside he had to stop and blink. The air was all funny! Like... like it was thicker than usual. He looked around, finding Pikeleader up on the Leader-rock, but it was hard to see him properly. Was there something important to report? No, but MedicineFawn wanted to say something. Cool, he'd continue to investigate the air until she began.

He stuck out his tongue and tried to lick it to check if it like,,, tasted,,,, different. It didn't, which to be completely honest was a little bit disappointing. And it smelt familiarly normal too. But it still looked weird! A cold white piece of... something landed on his nose and a little giggle escaped him when it melted with a tickling sensation. It took him a while to notice it was snow, and he grinned brightly and Beetlekit. "Exactly!" With a little more of it he could build another Snowclaw.

A Bigcat beside him said something Stagkit couldn't make out, so he turned around. He didn't recognize the Bigcat, but he realized that they were brown and white, just like him! COOL! "Hu, what did you say?" The Bigcat had a weird, scrunched-up-looking face that Stagkit didn't know what to make of, but it probably wasn't important. "Also, could you please explain why the air is being so odd? It's all.... well, odd!"

ColdPaw looked up into the fog as it swirled around, mesmerized by it. It was almost as if it was a wave made of clouds. He snapped back into reality at PikeStar's call. He padded over and took a seat in the back.
