Lizardpaw silently stared at him.
"Me too. Though I was taken to ShadowClan at a young age. Now I'm back." she replied. The deafening silence was a bit much but Lizardpaw didn't really mind. The resemblance thought, that was odd.

Irisflame shook her head in amusement as Echopaw pointed out that her doing so would only make their tensions between the medicine cats and the Dewpaw coven higher. Though, she had to admit that anything they did to evoke them just made her life more exciting, as annoying as they were. As her silvery apprentice grew...uncomfortable at best, she curved her eyebrows in sympathy and bumped pelts with her in reassurance.
"Hey, it'll be okay. He'll stop eventually, even if he has to have his tongue ripped out to do that." She had no idea if that was remotely reassuring, but she'd go with it.
As Speedy looked...down at her with a confused expression, she said a quick side note over to her- "Otterstone flirted with the medicine cats when we first met her. It stuck." She mewed quickly, hoping that the older she-cat didn't feel offended by her choice of nickname. She didn't think so. If she were her, she'd be glad that it didn't concern her leg. But Otterstone seemed unfazed.
"Flirty- good to see ya again!" She called through the crowd. As Echopaw's voice rang out beside them, confused, she allowed Flirty to take the reigns. After all, she had no idea why she'd resigned.
"As long as you're happy with where you are." She purred, dipping her head respectfully to the now...warrior? She had no idea how the whole thing worked.

Twilightstar paused to turn and face Icestar when the she-cat finally decided to talk after the Gathering had ended by the way. The molly was wrong, she knew she was wrong, but she was still going to persist? It made no sense to Twilightstar. Was it really that hard for her to be wrong? She was willing to risk her clan over her pride, over one dumb apprentice? It was a wonder ShadowClan was still standing with her at its head. Her ears drifted over to Beastspark as the deputy mentioned Blackpaw not being here. Funny, looked like Twilighstar won that dumb round, Rosepaw was here.
"You are grasping at air, Icestar. I'm not sure what you're trying to prove here, you're just looking foolish to me." Twilightstar growled, slipping around the cats in front of her to walk back over to the stones. In a fight there was no doubt, Icestar would unquestionably kick her ass, Twilightstar knew it but didn't really care about physical prowess here. If fighting was all Icestar felt was needed to prove herself superior, she was duller than a twoleg.
"All I want is for you to make sure you keep your cats in line, it's not that hard and I'm not asking for much." She knew she wasn't, but she wasn't going to bother to sit here and argue all night.
"I hope your stupid pride is worth it." The WindClan leader promptly turned and exited the beach with the rest of her clan.

"Blackpaw did come with us," Icestar clarified. She'd seen him arrive, at least. "But I see, if you'd rather not hear what he has to say about the situation, then so be it. Don't complain to me if you're going to reject my attempt at a solution." She jerked her head away with a snarl as Twilightstar departed the clearing with her clan.

If there was ever a declaration of war, that had to be one. The ShadowClan leader's heart quickened with the thought of sinking her claws into some WindClan pelts. Twilightstar wanted to act like her clan was so much greater because of their petty virtues, and now she practically announced an impending raid to Icestar.

Let's see if she can hold that confidence when we meet on the battlefield, then. She then turned and followed her deputy and the rest of her clan, back towards the pine trees.
