Snowdrop padded into the leader's den. "Oakstar, should I assign the patrols today?", the white she-cat asked, flicking her tail.

Mistfeather sorted the herbs in her den.

Turtlekit chased his older brother around the camp clearing. "I'm going to get you, Hailpaw!", the kit exclaimed. "No, you're not, Turtlekit!", Hailpaw said, climbing the Highledge.

Snowdrop perked her ears and saw the apprentice climb the Highledge, Turtlekit trying to climb after him. "Hailpaw! Turtlekit! Get down from there! You both are going to hurt yourselves!", the deputy said.

Hailpaw heard her and helped his brother climb back down the Highledge.

"Sorry, Snowdrop...", the two replied.

"It's okay. Just be careful next time.", the deputy said.

Hailpaw and Turtlekit nodded.

"Turtlekit, come here, please!", Bramblewing meowed. Turtlekit dashed over to the nursery. "Yes, Mother?", he asked. "Remember that your apprentice ceremony is next moon.", she said.

"Yes, I know.", Turtlekit replied. "Your brother's warrior ceremony is next moon, too!", the brown furred tabby queen purred. "I know that as well.", the dark brown tom-kit mewed.

Thornfrost sat in the camp clearing, looking around. Technically, just looking at everyone.
