Tigerscar had been tracking a black rat snake for some time now; they were his favorite snack. He had unknowingly crossed into WindClan territory, and was still tracking the snake. The one-eyed warrior sniffed the air; he was close to the snake, but what he didn't realize was that a WindClan cat was able to smell him... and the snake.

Heatherbreeze watched quietly as the Shadowclan tom prowled into her territory. She was about to approach him when she scented the snake, she then sat on her haunches as her fur fluffed up. She had always hated snakes, since she was a kit. The molly then decided to stride towards the Shadowclan Tom, keeping as eye on the snake, “What in Starclan are you doing?” She hissed quietly the anxiety evident in her voice.

She had always hated snakes, since she was a kit. "Trying to hunt this snake. What else would I be doing?" he replied quietly, leaping onto the black rat snake, nearly killing it with the force of the landing, before finishing it off with a bite.

He looked over at Heatherbreeze, and realized he had entered WindClan territory. "I'm sorry, I hadn't realized that I had left ShadowClan territory. If you don't mind, I'll take the snake and travel back towards my camp... assuming that's ok with you?"

Heatherbreeze shook her fur in disgust, “You eat those?” she mewed incredulously, though her expression betrayed a sense of humor. “I don’t care, though my clan mates will freak out if they see you.” Heatherbreeze pocked up a small rabbit, which she had caught earlier, and stepped toward the tom, “Com on, I'll escort you back to the border.” She said, twitching her tail as she surveyed the handsome tom.

Heatherbreeze tilted her head in surprise at the questions, most tons wouldn’t talk to her, let alone toms from other clans. “Heatherbreeze,” She meowed quickly, a sudden heat rising in her fur as she spoke to him, “And you?” The molly inquired, her paws shifting as they walked along to the border. She was growing more interested in this Shadowclan cat every second.

"Tigerscar." He replied, his striped, orange pelt reflecting the sunlight. He had obtained this pelt from his parents; who were third generation, escaped bengal house cats. He decided to continue the conversation. "Tell me about yourself, if you don't mind."

“There’s not much to tell,” She said shyly, her fur prickling as he asked about her, “I was born here in Windclan, went through my apprenticeship pretty smoothly, in fact I had my warrior ceremony a couple moons ago.” Heatherbreeze shook her fur and turned to him, “What about you?”

"Well, I was born a rogue kit named Stripe, my parents, like me, were tiger-like in appearance. That's about all I remember about them... before they were brutally slaughtered by another rogue. I lost more than just my eye that night." He shook the sadness from his emotions. "After that, I joined ShadowClan. My first several moons went smooth, that is, for the most part. Then, I became an apprentice, a bit late actually; the Clan leader wasn't doing the best for a while, so my apprenticeship was late. About two moons after that, I received my warrior name."

Heatherbreeze jumped slightly in surprise toward his tale, “I’m sorry, that must have been awful.” She murmured, feeling rather silly about her boring background, she hoped he didn’t find her boring as well as her tale. “Have you gotten along well in Shadowclan?” She had felt rather out of place in her own clan recently, not having many friends.
