Ashclouds heart started thumping, his eyes were wide with shock, and his cheeks as red as a rose! He relaxed a bit and kissed her back. He curled his tail around hers and pulled away, Ashcloud put his forehead to speckledrose's and smiled, "I love you speckledrose.." he whispered. Ashcloud had finally found the cat he wanted to be with.

“I love you too, Ashcloud.” Speckledrose was still in a sort-of shock mode. Her smile, though, was evident of her happiness. Her tail was wrapped around his and her ice blue eyes shone lovingly into his amber ones. She loved him, though it felt like it had all happened so fast.

Ashcloud looked up to see the moon setting, his ears perked and he chuckled a bit, "we should probably head back to camp. He said with a sigh, Ashcloud hopped off the rock and landed neatly on the sand, "I doubt they even noticed us missing." he joked with a small laugh.

Speckledrose giggled. “There are so many cats, I wonder how Duskstar can remember all their names!”
She smiled as they headed back towards camp together with their tails entwined.
