Ember's Visitor [Private]
Ember padded over the grassy ground, sighing heavily. The kits would be coming soon. She could feel it. If only their father could see them, their beautiful kits, when they came. The memory of him swirled up a storm of grief and anger. It was that rogue's fault her beloved mate was gone. It was their fault that her precious kits would never meet their fierce father. Ember stopped walking, setting herself on the ground gently. She needed to find a safe place for her kits. Maybe she could become a kittypet. She could go to Twolegplace, get housefolk, then her kits would grow up in an environment where they would always have enough food and water, a nice warm bed, and Twolegs to care for them. But the thought of leaving the Outskirts... No. She couldn't do that. Her mate had died for her and these kits. So they could live freely. She couldn't give that up! She couldn't-
The soft footfalls of another cat ended Ember's mental pep talk in a flash. She looked up, suddenly fearing for her kits. Ember stood up, but then stopped. Maybe they would like to talk? She was quite lonely now.

Leaf walked through a meadow and saw a hse-cat who seemed to be expecting kits quite soon. Leaf had had a litter of her own and knew how it felt. SHe walked over nicely nad calmly to the queen. "Hello there". She said. "I'm Leaf, need any help?" She asked gesturing to the she-cats swolen stomach.

Ember watched as the cat approached. She introduced herself as Leaf. "Hello, Leaf," Ember replied. "I'm Ember. And some help would be quite nice." This was going to be Ember's first litter, and she didn't want to raise them alone. It would be hard, and Ember didn't want to mess this up. If she messed it up, it could mean that her kits wouldn't make it. @ ~HewoFox~

"Unfortunately, still on the move. I had a den before, with my..." Ember trailed off. It was too painful to think about. Plus, she didn't need Leaf thinking she was trying to get her to pity her. She hated when cats thought that, even if that wasn't her intention.

"Not at all". Said Leaf smiling sincerly. She led Ember on a short walk in to a foresty area, with lots of bramble thickets, and an almost invisible hole going into an underground den. "This is it". Said Leaf holding the brambles aside for Ember to enter. "I'll go get some moss to make you a nest."

"That's the point". Said Leaf comming back with moss. "No one will find the kits before they are ready to leave then den. And there is enough room in here for them to play and roam." Said Leaf gesturing to the very large, open den.

just found this so here goes. I'm a 7 year old girl so a young warrior cat reader and may not apply for high ranks due to inexperience and the fact that i have not read past fire and ice.
