Difficult to fall asleep was a huge understatement for the young caliby tom as Wingpaw fought to keep his eyes open. When him and his brother had moved into the apprentice's den, he had made sure that their nests were next to each others - his, of course, in front so that he could defend Honeypaw should any threats breach camp and find the den. He had been curled up for awhile, head on his paws, watching his younger brother rest. But the struggle to keep his eyes open was slowly winning, a small ache settling in the back of his head.

...He wasn't sure exactly when he finally crashed. But when Wing opened his eyes he was not in the apprentice's den. In fact, he was pretty sure he wasn't even in RiverClan entirely. Scrambling to this paws the young tom whipped around, immediately searching for Honeypaw first. It took a couple spins for him to realize... there were stars everywhere. And something felt off about this.

Was he dreaming???

Wingpaw blinked his eyes in rapid succession, rubbing them with the back of his paw before trying again. Nope. Still in the same, ethereal place that both frightened and offered him a sense of comfort. "Hello??" he called, wondering if there were any cats around. Was this StarClan? Who would've called him to StarClan? Or if no one had, how did he find his way here??
