A cool breeze sweeps over the fields of wheat, sending a chill down the spines of Farmers, despite the unbearable heat of Summer. An icy chill spreads through the world, as a young child is born into the world.

Earth, a place of technology and innovation, is not used to the concept of Magic. Even though our Myths and Legends cover the topic, we only see them as stories. We don't take them seriously enough...

However, Magic is beginning to enter our world in ways that we humans cannot comprehend. All because of the birth of a young child, that is destined to become a God of destruction and hate.

-Yes, this takes place in the 21st Century. Specifically, the year 2024.
-Magic is a basic thing at the moment. It includes weak telekinesis, the ability to shapeshift into a single animal, communicating with animals, etc.; all of these are weak abilities, because the Magic in the world has not become strong enough.
-Your characters may develop powers over time, or wake up to find that all of a sudden, the cat can speak to you! It doesn't really matter, my only request is that these powers are new and unknown.
-Over-Powered characters are not allowed in this stage of development. Not even my character (the God of Destruction and Hate) will not be able to do much more than give a person a paper-cut (mainly due to young age, and the fact that, like stated before, the magic in this world is not strong enough.)

However, he acts like he's still a little kid, because he doesn't want to seem different from the others.

Adriana was jogging around the track that surrounded a grassy field with a few trees. She was just outside the high school, and even though it was the weekend, she and her sisters had taken the time to come out here. At the moment, it was peaceful and quiet- Belle and Amelia could read, and Adriana could run the track without being bothered. The sky was cloudy, giving everything a sharper, but dimmer look than usual. The clouds were swelling up with water, promising a heavy rainstorm for later that evening.

Belle and Amelia were curled up underneath a tree, each reading their books. While Belle was fascinated by an old fairytale- specifically Beauty and the Beast,- Amelia was reading a medical textbook. The soft chirping of birds and the cool breeze rustling the grass created a beautiful ambient noise, which was quite soothing.

Adriana jogged up to her sisters with a smile, collapsing next to them with a giddy smile. "That was fun," She panted, wiping her forehead off and taking off her jacket to reveal a black tank-top.

"Of course you would find running in circles fun, Adri." Belle teased lightly, closing her book.

"Hey!" Adriana protested weakly, but rolled her eyes in good humor.

"Say, perhaps we should head home? Those clouds look like they're about to release a heavy rain upon us..." Amelia gestured briefly, standing up. The midsummer heat had subdued considerably due to the overcast sky. While it was normally 90* outside, it had cooled to a more tolerable 72*.

"That's a wise idea," Belle agreed, standing up.

"Okay," Adriana chirped.

Summer had been bored back at home and decided to go to the park that she lived near. It was a pretty day to go outside, and that's what she did. The relaxed girl had taken a bench for herself and lied down on it. The shade that the tree near her provided a sense of safety and shelter for Summer as she gazed down at her sketch pad, drawing a piece of scenery around her. She remained quiet for the whole time as she drew and erased lines here and there. Sometimes, the wind would blow her hair to her face, so she had to push them back on annoyance as she continued to draw.
