When you first meet him he won't really talk much but once you are around him for a certain amount if time he'll open up and start talking about his favorite books and songs.

In the small, seemingly normal town of Northbury, the quiet residents of it’s streets were calm, quiet folk. There wasn’t much crime or anything that people needed to worry about. However, within the houses of the town, families of animal hybrids lived out their lives, not causing trouble, but knowing that society would never accept them, they kept to themselves in hopes of living a normal life. That was not the case though, soon the Government found out their whereabouts and saw them as a threat to the town and the world itself. With the families of the hybrids defending their home, they told their children to run before it was too late. Some stayed to fight, refusing to leave, but that cost them their lives. Hi everyone! This is Robin-chan here to bring you a brand-new roleplay plot! This was actually the first ever rp that I ever participated in back in April when I first joined WCO on the old site. Although the people that were once apart of this story are gone or have forgotten it, I decided to bring it back to a new group. Please enjoy! It all started with the sound of a single gunshot.

Aspen’s head snapped up from her book as she sat on the couch while her mother, Raine, worked in the kitchen. “Mom, what’s happening?” She asked, the young teenager quickly getting up from her seat as her heart thumped heavily in her chest. Her father, Talon, rushed into the house and slammed the door behind him, breathing rather fast. “They’ve found us - Aspen, you need to run. Now!” The young girl shook her head, her hands shaking as more sounds of gunshots and screams rang out through the small town of Northbury as the Government searched through the houses for the hybrids that littered the town -killing them on sight. Her mother rushed over to her, grabbing Aspen and making her look at her. “You need to get to safety, don’t worry about us. We’ll join you soon enough. Please, we love you.” Raine said, rushing her small daughter to the back door of their small home.

Talon uttered a growl of pain as a bullet broke through the weak wooden door and went through his shoulder. “Dad!” Aspen shrieked, watching her father fall to the ground with blood pooling from his shoulder. He shifted into his large, pitch-black wolf form. He turned to his family. “Run, Aspen. Run and don’t look back.” He urged, pain and fear within his amber eyes, “I love you so much.” As he said that, he leapt out the door and went to defend his family. Raine looked back to where her beloved husband fled. “Talon!” She said, desperation in her voice. She turned back to her daughter. “Run into the forest. Be safe, please. I need to help your father.” With that, Aspen’s mother left her, shifting into her lean, white and brown cat form.

Aspen’s head turned back and forth to the front door to the forest, not knowing what to do. She shook her head violently and rushed out the sliding glass door into their backyard, shifting into her swift Bengal cat-form and leapt over the fence and dashed off into Plyth Forest, thorns and branches scratching her sides and making her wince as tears formed in the corners of her eyes, knowing that her family was surely dead. Several bullets whizzed past her head and she quickened her pace, stepping over stones as her ears flattened. A sharp pain formed in her flank as a bullet grazed that area, but not entering her flesh. Blood soaked her right flank as she eagerly limped deep into the woods before collapsing next to a stream on the cold, smooth pebbles of the river-bank, her chest rising and falling, exhausted.

Jesse watched as government agents broke into homes and executed hybrids on sight. He growled before turning to watched Aspen run towards the woods. He unfolded his wings and shot into the sky to follow her. He watched as a bullet grazed her flank and as she collapsed by a river. He dropped in front of her and lunged at a government agent.

W-What is happening? Aspen thought as all she saw was darkness around her and pain blazing through her small feline body. Her eyes slowly opened as she laid on her side beside the river-bank , blood from her wound washing away down the river current. The weakened Bengal female lifted her head slowly as her eyes widened at the sight of someone protecting her from the agent that had run after her in the forest. He looked familiar. Northbury was a small town and she’d seen about everyone on it’s streets, but she couldn’t place who he was or why he protected her. Aspen quietly tried to stand up to help him, but her legs, weak from running and pained from the bullet, easily crumbled underneath her as she collapsed in the grass. How soon would it be until one of them killed her - just like her mom and dad? The young girl’s ears flattened and she closed her eyes - waiting for the inevitable.

Jesse turned to look at Aspen, sighing before turning back to the agent. He picked the agent up and tossed him at the other agents. He grabbed Aspen in his arms and shot up into the air. He slowly dropped down into a old treehouse. He set Aspen on the bed and went to get the first aid kit. He brought it out and started to clean the wound.

Aspen tensed up as she felt arms go around her small body and the rush of air around her, soon being set down on a soft surface that made her relax, the stinging of her wound becoming numb. She gave out a whine of pain as her savior began to tend to her wound. The Bengal opened her eyes, peering at the boy. “Why..” She started, her voice stuttering and weak, “Why are you helping me?” Aspen knew that she should thank him rather than question his good deeds, but she was curious. She thought that she would be all alone once she got out into the forest. He must be a hybrid, just like her. “Is everyone else dead?” She murmured, her whiskers twitching.

[Starfall]

Elliot chocked back a cry as he ran through the forest, his white hair fluffed up, messy. His clothes tattered and torn, caked in dirt. The albino tripped and fell, gasping in pain as his knee hit the ground. He was only down for a second before he picked himself up and began to run again, unsure of where he was running. Images of his parents dead bodies, bloody and limp, strewn in the bathtub as the curtain was wrapped around their beaten bodies. His house a mess, everything thrown everywhere, his house torn apart. ' I'm sorry, I'm so sorry it's all my fault, if I wasn't the way I was, if I was normal.' he thought as he just ran on, crying, sobbing as he weaved between the trees.
