Watching Applepaw and Swamppaw bond, Slickpaw felt sad. He was always laughed at and teased at because he had been born to kittypets. No one respected him because he had been a kittypet. He didn’t understand because as soon as he opened his eyes and could walk, he went straight to Riverclan. His brother, named Teddy, was his only family and he refused to join a Clan. Pampered by twolegs, grown fat on kittypet food, never once looking at the forest, maybe to see his brother. Horrible! Then, out of nowhere, he passed out.

"Did you fall into the pond?" Frostpaw asked, tilting her head. Why was Silverpaw stuttering? Was she cold? Or just plain weird?

Saltpaw was tired. Confused. Scared.

He couldn't believe that he hadn't heard about the conflicts sooner. Most of the cats in this den where much younger than him, and that felt strange as well. The tom didn't want to fight- no, not at all. But it seemed as that could get him kicked out- maybe,, i'll just learn some self-defense.

"Ohhhhh." Frostpaw nodded knowingly. It was just because she was weird. Ok, that made sense. She wondered if Siilverpaw ever tried to stop it. Or did she just except it? But that was a pretty big thing to just go and except, in Frostpaw's opinion.

She couldn't make up her mind, so in the end she asked Siilverpaw. "Do you try to hold it in? As in, talk without the stutter?"

Blizzardsky entered the den taking in the scent of the den, he looked around until he could find the nest that faintly scented of Willowpaw. He stopped to scent it in some pausing sadly before heading to the back of the den and found the moss that had feathers in it and carefully moved it aside, sure enough he saw the cool hawk feather, he wasn’t sure what he was going to do with it quite yet. He carefully scooped out the pretty shells and stones he’d decorate Heronflight and the kits nest with them, then took out the mossball, it was her precious mossball. He’d guard it well. Then he saw the weird looking branch, he was going to place it against the outside of the nursery wall so his kits could climb the nursery wall and hang out on the roof of the den, he figured they’d enjoy doing that. Then he quietly collected the things, and Willowpaw’s nest before pausing, he knew he didn’t have the authority to do this, but it felt wrong for him not to do this,” I say these words for the spirit of Willowpaw, by my authority as Riverclan’s best warrior, Willowpaw, from this day forward you will be known as Willowdream may you walk with Starclan as a full warrior.” he meowed, he had no idea if he actually had that authority to do it, but hopefully Starclan would respect his authority to make her a warrior of Starclan.

Amberpaw quietly entered the den, looking around at the few apprentices inside it. She didn’t spend much time in here, much as she’d been excited to join them as a kit. It was ironic, really. She’d been an apprentice for what, almost four moons now? And yet she’d barely spent any time in here. She sighed and walked over to her nest, curling up in it and watching the other apprentices, hoping one of them would speak to her.

The young russet apprentice sat in his own nest, his eyes slightly closed. Redpaw was watching Silverpaw. He didn’t know why, but he seemed to enjoy seeing what she brought in every once in a while.
