MinnowClan, a clan of cats who live on an island! This simple sentence may tell you a lot, they eat fish, their good swimmers, and things like that, right? Yes, but there's so much more to them...

MinnowClan has a beautiful territory, but confusing. They live on an island, surrounded by water that is said to be blessed, by the gods, the fish. The most god-like creature is a minnow, the minnows are said to be angels that come down to watch over the cats. They used to be known as IslandClan but, due to their religion, they started to be called MinnowClan and simply took on the name. Many cats believe the island they live is to be cursed. Its not only known for MinnowClan but for the mysterious weather patterns. You see, MinnowClan is scattered across the entire, large island. There's 5 different sections of Minnowclan that live in peace and harmony. Theres-

Territories!

Twisted Root Grove-

This is a thickly forested area that is always in the season of very late fall or early winter. The trees seem to loom over you and groan with old screams. They have been dead since anyone can remember. There's lots of frogs and rats due to the swampy, cool climate. The water there is dirty so they usually collect water from outside of Twisted Root Grove. The cats there are normally wide-shaped and buff with darker colored fur. There is not much sickness here and in spite of the creepy forest the camp is very well protected and safe with not too many predators.

Chillng Mountains-

This climate is the far left corner of the island. there's a beautiful mountain and the middle is a camp where cats spend their time when they want winter seasons. It's always leaf-bare in this section, the snow is always piled up and fluffy. The prey here is small arctic foxes along with white, thick furred rabbits and snakes hidden under rocks. The habitat is very steep and rocky but not so hard to climb that a kit couldn't do it. There's a small barrier, perhaps made by glaciers, that makes a sort of wall that young kits can't escape. Though older kits can escape the rocky edge, once a kit is 3 moons they are allowed to leave camp with a friend due to the low predator risks. Most cats that were born here are given silky and thick fur with lighter, diluted colors.

Waterfall of Roses-

This place is located to the front right of the island. It's the perfect temperature throughout the entire year. There's never any snow and the rain comes at perfect times. Rainbows and dewdrops are often found in the morning by the ocean. Elders and Senior Warriors like to spend their days lazing around the camp here. This climate is known for it's abundant waterfalls, roses, and other beautiful flowers. Fresh water is quickly found along with easy prey such as mice and old birds. Sparrows are especially common, and although this place sounds like a dream come true there are some cons to those wonderful pros. You see, the camp isn't protected too well due to the population being older cats and foxes gather here in groups along with badgers posing a high predator risk so cats under 7 moons are strictly prohibited from leaving camp, once they reach 5 moons they can leave with at least 1 warrior.

Dried Up Hollow-

This climate is not what you think, you may be thinking, oh, Spring, Winter, Fall, the next must be Summer, right? Uhhh close? You see, some things can't be too good, so I am making a dessert. This dessert is lively with activity though, there's plenty of lizards and small rabbits for prey. No predators here at all because who wants to live in the dessert? The cacti can be torn down and plucked of their thorns then, use the water inside to drink. The camp is in a stone hollow that may have been a two-leg home at some point thousands of moons ago. Temperatures here are hot during the toasty, cloudless days but cold during the shady nights.

Minnow's Blessing-

This territory is small, and in the very center. It's named Minnow's Blessing because there are two Minnows, old, very, very old that always have swam it the pond that is in the center of the island. Leaders come for wisdom, but, so does everyone else. The Minnows hear problem after problem. "Does Salmonfoot like me the way I like him? How can I get home? When will I be an apprentice? How long until I see my dad again?" From silly to smart, the Minnows have heard it all. This climate is made of pure crystals and there's many fish who swim under the glass-like stone. Everyone there respects the Minnows.

About the roles

Commanders-

A commander is a cat sort of like the deputy, there are 4. There is a commander for every single territory except for Minnow's Blessing which is controlled by the fish. Commanders lead the clan and check in with the current leader whenever they stop by.

MinnowClan meetings will be held at the time when there is no moon at Minnow's Blessing once a moon. If you are given a Commander Role I expect you to attend.

LITTLE backstory: She was born and grew up in a respected family whilst the clan was rebuilding after a flood, she lived comfortably until she was about 11 moons old, but at that point life took a turn for the worst.

She maimed somebody when the clan was ambushed by rogues and was headed for a life of misery. Without any help she had to survive in a rough world. But with her charm and fighting skills, she managed to train to perfection and overcome all odds. This has turned her into the cat she is today.

Powerless to change the past, she now works as a commander over Twisted Root Grove. By doing so, she hopes to forget about the past and finally find stability and security she has never had.
