your words set my heart aflame, yet i know of their game. you have captured me, setting me free from myself. but they still seek revenge. i deserve not you, not anyone. i will only cause you to fall. your world will break because of me. why do you stay? how can you last another day? for i look on to see them smile. they surround you, leaving a line for a mile. these feelings, they bubble up inside, screaming to be free. but i shall not let them loose. i am too afraid to lose you. why must you stay? every word drives me insane. why shall you not go? i will cause your end, you must know. your heart mustn't remain with me. it will break due to my jealousy. i will keep you for myself, because your soul, i will own. don't say that i did not warn you. baby, i already own you.

your love is just a curse

they had always been the perfect couple. laughing together, loving together. but it had changed, recently. he had grown away from her, texting another woman. smiling at the thought of her. what did the other have that she didn't?
yes, she was beautiful. her golden locks fell in ringlets over her shoulders, eyes like liquid gold upon milky skin. a soft blush remained forever on her cheeks, with a near-perfectly proportioned face. she was absolutely, utterly beautiful. but why did that change a relationship that had been thriving for many years? a voice so silky kept speaking lies within his ears, those golden eyes full of deceit every time they looked upon her.

she had to run.

she ran, and ran, and ran, finally stopping upon a sun-kissed beach. her chest heaved, short hair blowing in a gentle breeze. gaze trailing up to look across the wild waters, she froze.

no. it couldn't be.

her eyes must have created a hallucination. they wouldn't- they couldn't. he had loved her for many years, but now, what had happened?
now, he was holding the other by the waist, speaking soft words that he had once said to her. the words that he saved only for their time alone. as she looked on, frozen to her spot with a stone weighing heavy in her heart, he leaned in, pulling the woman closer. their lips met, a smile forming on each of their faces. the other woman opened her eyes, as if she knew what she was witnessing.
tears threatened to spill, but she refused. no, she would not allow them to see her cry. it would be a show of weakness, a sign that she had lost the battle. no, she would run. she would run far, far away.

and she would never come back.
