Bloodwolf waited for the howls to die down before continuing. "I have also decided upon who I choose to be my Healer. And that role belongs to none other than Pumpkinhowl. Pumpkinhowl, from this day onwards you will be known as Pumpkinleaf, and you will serve as the Healer of this pack. I trust you have right judgement and enough knowledge to help keep this pack up to shape and serve it as best you can." She paused for a moment, letting the pack howl for their new Healer.

"I know I have said earlier that I will choose my Beta upon a later date, but I have changed my mind. I have already decided on who I want my Beta to be, and it is none other than Winterhowl. The he-wolf, not the she-wolf," she clarified, knowing there were two Winterhowl's in the Pack. Luckily that will not be a problem anymore. "Winterhowl, you are now Wintervice, and it will be your duty to serve and protect this Pack, through sickness and health, through good times and bad, and you must stand by until the end. Do you agree to this?" she asked, knowing that he would accept. He was the type of wolf who would take up this responsibility and work on it as best he could.

There were a couple more things left to be adressed. "On a different note, I have a pup who is old enough to become a Learner. Fireflypup, come on up here," she called, looking into the crowd for the youngest wolf in the Pack. Once he left, there would be no more pups. The Pack could look forward to Winterhowl's kits to-be with joy. They were the future.

He closes his hazel eyes and almost gasps. When his eyes open, he is very determined. Winterhowl - no, Wintervice looks at Bloodwolf and dips his head to her. "Always." He says in his odd voice. Then he looks at the ground and he listens to Bloodwolf's voice. He flushes and shakes his head and smiles.

*Winterhowl was just minding her own business in the play area when she suddenly let out a howl of pain*

*JuniperGaze heard yolws of pain coming from across the base. She rushed over, following the sound eventually arriving at the play pen, and seeing WinterHowl.

"WinterHowl!! Are you okay??" *she gasped with realization* "It's time she whispered to herself*

WinterHowl was giving birth! Her eyes widened, she didn't know what to do, or what to say! JuniperGaze wasn't expertise in helping cats give birth, or anything related to health! She was the wolf who saw the spirit wolves. They needed PumpkinLeaf! They needed PumpkinLeaf now! Her eyes tried to find their newly recruited healer, calling out her name,,*

"PUMPKINLEAF!! ITS TIMEE!!" *howled JuniperGaze as loud as she could across the base, hoping that PumpkinLeaf would show up soon..*

*In the meantime she decided to comfort WinterHowl, trying to say encouraging stuff, before howling for PumkpinLeaf again*

Bloodwolf was daydreaming in her nest, trying to think of how she could make the Pack better when she heard shouts. Alerted, she perked her ears for the origin of the sound. It was coming for the Playpen. It was Winterhowl. Oh no. She knew what was coming, but so soon? She was still a relatively new Alpha. She saw Junipergaze kneeling over the Pupper. Wow. Her belly was big.

Ok. It's fine. You've seen this happen several times, she told herself. "Junipergaze, go search for Pumpkinleaf. Where is Pumpkinleaf?" she said, panicking. Then she took a deep breath, knowing the wolves wouldn't respect her as an Alpha if she constantly panicked over little things. With Junipergaze leaving in search of the Healer, she turned to Winterhowl.

"Can you stand up?" she asked, knowing they needed to get her over to the section of the Den where all the healing was done. "Here, lean on my shoulder," she encouraged, offering it for support.
