We're beginning to reach the final month of Summer, so let's make it count! Staff is coming to you with another Site-Wide Event to partake in if you're interested.

This event would be based off.... writing! Depending on how many people apply, there would be 2-4 teams made that you would be randomly sorted into [team names will be determined once we know how many are needed]. These teams would be competing against each other to see who can make the MOST amount of posts! Once the applying period is over, you will be required to use your teams hashtag in posts to keep everything easily trackable. [for ex, #bluebird ]

How the winner will be calculated is through a point system. In private threads, every 50 words in a post will add 5 points to your team. In public threads, every 50 words will add 10 points to your team, and the team with the most amount of points will win! Only 1 of your characters will count for this event.

The team with the most points all-together will get an animated winner award as well as 5,000 kk! Every other team will get a standard non-animated award + 1,000 kk.

Woah, man. You sure you wanna do this? Alright, let's get into the thick of it then! The basic premise is listed below.

You will only be allowed to use a NEW CHARACTER created specifically for this event, and can ONLY use this character in public roleplays (no closed posts/using in Private Roleplays.) If you'd like, you are free to use some of these prompts to create a character as well:

Make a new character inspired by your current favorite song!

Use one of your favorite book/tv show characters as inspiration!

Make a character based off the first thing you see outside!

Make a character based off a fond memory!

However, the tougher the challenge, the better the awards.

1st Place
- semi detailed scene with light animation [falling leaves, moving small bugs etc]
- 3 purrks of your choice
- 20,000 kk
- a unique award

2nd Place
- slightly animated fullbody [blinking, tail movement etc]
- 2 purrks of your choice
- 15,000 kk
- a unique award

3rd Place
- basic fullbody
- 1 purrk of your choice
- 10,000 kk
- a unique award

Don't fret if you don't win either! All participants will get 5,000 kk and an award

Alright, now you know what the challenge is. How the heck do you opt in for this challenge? Easy, if you wish to participate in the regular challenge reply to this thread with "Sign me and [character] up!" If you wish to go for the tougher challenge, reply to this thread with "[New character] and I are up for the challenge!"

This event will start on August 4th, and end on August 18th at 11:59 PM EST, so make sure to get your writing in by then. Happy writing!
