Marblesky opened her eyes. For a second she wondered why the air was so thick and why you could hear the breathing of every sleeping cat so well. Why did it seem like if you moved you would be caught in the crowd of other sleeping cats? Oh.. because you would. You would be caught in a crowd of many sleeping cats. ShadowClan had come to RiverClan after the flood correct? Yes they had. And now she was stuck in RiverClan's warriors den. Marblesky sighed in annoyance. She was stuck in the stuffy den, seeing as she had nothing better to do. The molly shook her head and placed it upon her paws. A cat would talk to her. She was not starting a conversation.

Even though it was it was a nice clear day. The sun high, the birds singing afternoon songs, Grizzlyprint stalked into the warriors' setting. He wasn't tired...well, maybe a little bit. Yeah, he had been a little tired. He offered to go on patrol, he offered to hunt. So, what else were there to do? It was already strange enough to have two clans combined. He wasn't in his natural home. Everything was foreign to him in...Riverclan. This smelly, disturbing place. He knew Russetstar pitied them for what happened to their home, and to make things worse - Halestar left out the blue. She just left her clan hanging. What type of leader did such a thing? Grizzlyprint was dead tired. He felt his weight on his paws. The unkempt tom flicked his tail, searching around for a random nest. A cat shouldn't mind him borrowing it for a nap, right? Of course not! These riverclan felines were friendly. To him, at least. To be honest if he had seen a reflection of himself, he would realize why they were so friendly. The ragged tom literally took the appearance of a wild bear. Ragged fur that seemed to never be clean, and his rough facial expressions alone scared most cats into not wanting him as company.

Grizzlyprint began padding once again, picking up his heavy paws as he found the perfect spot to rest. He didn't bother to make eye contact with anyone else. If he did...that meant conversation. Frankly, the tom wished to nap. Only for a few moments before he decide what to do when he awoke. Which, was the part he was dreading. He didn't want to wake up and decide anything. See, Grizzlyprint was indecisive - about the tiniest things. He figured if he slept the entire day away, then he wouldn't have to worry about any other orders to carry out. Though...that wouldn't be very good either. Then, he would be awake the entire night. Maybe, he would be set on night patrol. Urgh! Here he was overthinking again...all, he needed was sleep. So, he plopped himself down on the nest, curled into a ball, and began to sleep quietly.

Nearby to Grizzlyprint was a younger warrior, full of (nervous) energy and youth… even in his sleep. Stagskip had wandered into the warriors’ den in hopes of getting some rest before sundown was upon them, assuming he ought to try his luck at hunting for the Clan while they were forcibly taking shelter with RiverClan. Stagskip had mixed feelings about them and the rest of the sticky situation they were in, and so far he’d decided that he would rather go back to ShadowClan’s land when the opportunity became available. Honestly, with all of this going on, he wasn’t sure he could blame Halestar for leaving due to the stress of leadership - despite his understanding, he still felt resentful since it wasn’t as if all of them could just leave. They weren’t cowards who would ditch their loyalties at the drop of a mouse tail. Because of the state their Clan was in, with a new leader and in a territory they didn’t belong, Stagskip hadn’t been able to sleep very well. He was kept up by insomnia and bad dreams, which gave the young warrior no choice but to try to get rest whenever possible. At this time of day, he didn’t think he would have anyone to disturb and was fast asleep in a makeshift nest, not being brave enough to take one of the RiverClan cats’.

The nightmares continued to plague him, however. He could imagine himself running through a RiverClan-esque territory, monsters - foxes, dogs, badgers - chasing him back to where he belonged and so desperately wished to be. He could feel the heat of their breath on his hind legs, growing closer and ready to snap at him with their ferocious, bone-breaking jaws. Terrified, Stagskip tried to make a dash from them and save his pelt; however, outside of his dream, all he was doing was wildly squirming and thrashing within the nest. His paws were colliding with something rough albeit squishy, and the foreign sensation startled him out of the dream. Blinking to clear his blurred vision away, he was met with the sight of Grizzlyprint and swore his heart jumped into his throat, and he realized this was it. This was how he was going to die - not by foxes or badgers or dogs, but this huge bear of a tom. ”I’m so sorry!” Stagskip squeaked, embarrassed and fairly terrified. Shuffling to his feet faster than ever, he put some distance between them, chest still heaving with the remnants of the bad dreams and sudden horror. ”I ..disturbed you, didn’t I? Oh StarClan, oh StarClan..” He wasn’t usually skittish like this, but Grizzlyprint didn’t seem like the cat to mess with, intentional or not. ”I should just.. Uh, let myself out of the warriors’ den,” he began to back up, “sorry again for disturbing-” before he could finish, he unknowingly backed into another nest and basically fell into it, becoming startled as his fur puffed wildly.

Berries...mmmm. Grizzlyprint laid his head down on his paws, dreaming about the delicious food. More of a dessert for cats like him. Most of these clan cats didn't know about berries, but boy...he knew his berries. He loved his berries. And, his sweet tree sapling. It was like - he was surrounded by berries. Different types of berries, and all of them had been delicious. In reality, his tongue was lolled out his mouth, but in his dream his tongue had been wrapped around as many berries he could eat. He could taste it. And, man...they tasted amazing. Another wouldn't believe he was even dreaming, but he was deep asleep. Running through a field of different berries. Being able to gulp them up as much as he could. This...this was the life.
Until something disturbed him. Sounded like leaves being scratched. Grizzlyprint found himself looking up at the sky, and noticed that the leaves were indeed falling. But, why were they making such a horrid noise? In reality, the tom muttered in his sleep inaudible phrases, then he started shifting around. The leaves were annoying. They continued to fall, and scratch. It made the tom want to snap. For Grizzlyprint didn't have a lick of patience in his personality. His movement became out of control and the tom finally ceased everything, and shot his head up in a blazing movement. He darted his eyes around until he was met with a young tom who seemed to just woken up from his own...trance. ''Oh?'' His voice was gruff, sounding more of a growl than anything. Grizzlyprint became unsettled. Like a bear being woken from their hibernation in the middle of winter. ''Well, isn't that obvious?'' He clenched his teeth. The ragged tom was highly displeased with being woken up. Especially from a dream as such. Turning his glaring hues back onto the other tom, he squinted his eyes to figure out who it was. But, the young tom got up, apologizing profusely - then stumbled into the other nest. ''Hah.'' The faintest of smiles appeared on the rugged tom's maw. Definitely Stagleap. Grizzlyprint didn't think he'd met a more skittish tom. He supposed it wouldn't hurt to scare him. After all, Grizzlyprint liked to have a little fun. ''You should be sorry. You do not want to know what I do to cats who disturb my sleep.'' He growled, getting up from his own nest and ready to stalk forward if the smaller tom dared to give chase.

Having the other tom’s eyes on him caused Stagskip to feel instantly chilled to the bone, too frozen to move as his heart was pounding in his throat. He swore Grizzlyprint could probably hear it if he tried considering how wildly it was beating, a constant remind that he shouldn’t be here. He needed to run before this monster of a warrior pulverized him or even squished him beneath his very paws.Over what? Disturbing him in his sleep-- a viable offense in Stagskip’s opinion, but anything was viable when you were the size of this cat and could get your way with sheer strength and intimidation. He went even more rigid when Grizzlyprint clenched his teeth. “M..maybe? See, I’m sort of slow sometimes and not to imply you are-” he rattled, unsure of himself and just wishing he knew what to say to diffuse the situation. It was already blown out of proportion, but that wasn’t something he noticed when he was genuinely fearful for his life. ”But every cat deserves knowledge and.. It seems like you have it, so,” a cough and shuffling his paws as he tried to figure out what to do. The answer was right in front of him, and with a nervous meow, he declared, ”I will leave you in peace!”

He was all too happy to leave if that was what the other cat wanted, as he had no reason to stay when the only thing he was doing was making life more difficult on those around him. On occasion, he had a feeling that summed up his existence, but he was in too much of a panic to analyze the bigger picture. Too concerned with what Grizzlyprint might do to him, he wasn’t interested in staying around to find out, nor did he have the ability to determine he was joking when his mind was on overdrive. A squeak-like noise tumbled out of Stagskip in response to his growling tone, certain this was how he was going to die. Not much of a warrior’s death, really, but he had it coming. He had a feeling the answer to Grizzlyprint’s threat wasn’t anything positive. He didn’t get them a piece of food from the fresh-kill pile or nuzzle them or boop them on the nose - Stagskip didn’t need to wait to see what’d happen next. Stumbling a bit again, Stagskip hurried to the den exit, apologies and pleas not to eat him continuing to spill from the tom as he did so.

Jaggedcloud sat in the warrior's den grooming his gray fur. 'It's so cramped in here!' He thought to himself. He saw cats everywhere. He stopped grooming himself and rested his head on his paws. He yawned and closed his eyes. He drifted off into a deep sleep.

The ebony tom pushed his way through the hanging vines, letting out a grunt as one roped around his ear and refused to let go until he shook it loose. He made his way further into the closed space and stepped over both neat and untidy nests, taking care as to not step on them, he was a fairly large tom after all, it's not hard to squish some of the rather tiny nests that made themselves home here. After gracefully clomping around the den, only managing to step on one cats tail, he finally found his nest, or well, his former nest, he still had yet to move it. The nest consisted of reed stalks, moss, which held it together and made it soft, a few feathers, and some large leaves, just to make it extra soft. Though it didn't seem like it, he couldn't sleep at night unless it felt as though he was sleeping on a cloud, there was feathers and moss on every corner and edge and turn on his nest, and it was the exact way he liked it. He wouldn't state it aloud, but he prided himself on the building of his nest, it took him a few moons to make it perfect, and he was unsure about moving it as a whole or taking it apart and moving it piece by piece. If he picked it up and moved it whole, he would need another set of paws and would receive funny looks, and he didn't really plan on bothering a warrior, and already didn't like some of the looks he got from a few of his clanmates. At the same time, however, if he took it apart and transported it in pieces, then it would take longer, and he didn't think he could get it perfectly right again. The fluffy, ebony tom pouted and sat down, his lapis hues flickered with contemplation.

Fallenstar knew it was a trivial thing to think about, but for him, he was just trying to take his mind off of what was happening around him, take his mind off the dark thoughts that threatened his sanity once more. He had already let them win once, and he didn't want to let it happen again, not after what he had done. The risk was too high, he had killed a senior warrior, and after meeting Honeypool, only then did that dark blight disappear, and she wasn't around anymore, she wasn't here to chase away all those horrid memories, those horrid thoughts. He tilted his head to the side and let out a sigh, it was a hard puzzle to solve indeed, the pro's and con's were equal for both possabilities, maybe he needed a 2nd opinion to help him decide. Though he was prepared for one feline to look at him as if he was an idiot, but he couldn't let this problem be unsolved.

The early morning sunlight would usually play a large role in most cats' daily routine, but not for Coralear. The peachy-coloured female had been bumbling about since the first rays of gold had begun to dance their way into the clearing, and even then she had been awake far earlier before that. Not a single yawn passed by her stoic self, only the faintest of twitches could be seen as she forced herself to remain lively and helpful in the morning-time. Coralear prided herself in being a useful cat, and it wasn't likely that she would be giving that up on that idea anytime soon. With a subtle flick of her banner, the she-cat rose up onto all-fours. Shaking out any remaining particles of dust and dirt from her thick coat didn't take all too long, but she did pause momentarily to swipe her tongue over a few dishevelled tufts of hair. Then, after a brief moment of psyching herself up, the female began on her journey to the Warriors' Den; prepared to face a young tom who was just screaming to get into trouble. She was like a strong mother-figure for a few of the cats, including the male who she was ready to lecture. Having been there to tell him off and give him warnings on how to behave, the she-cat may as well have been his mother.
Wisps of air rose out from both her nostrils and parted lips, whilst the two-toned molly ambled through the structural entrance of the den. Vines clambered around her bodice for only a few moments, before her paws had continued to move instinctively towards the curled-up frame of another feline. She was careful not to tread over other cats' beds; knowing how much work everyone put into their sleeping areas. Or, most of everyone at least. Honey-like gaze drifting over to her own moss bedding, the she-cat couldn't help but feel warmth build up in her chest. A few dainty flowers had been woven into it, not only by herself, but by a few of the felines who spoke with her too. She liked to tell them it was therapeutic, just patiently weaving the delicate plants in and out from the ferns. And, it almost was. Coralear's lips curved upwards at the mere thought of some pretty flowers, with fragile petals and intricately-designed patterns. Especially if their meaning was significant, or just in general very meaningful to the female.

As she trailed her hues up from her own bed, she was met with the fluffy form of Fallenstar. A single brow rose upon her forehead, with a crease forming in between. The tom seemed to be deep in thought; probably contemplating something. Now, it wasn't really Coralear's place to be, but she couldn't help but feel concern for the leader. Of course, if it were anyone else she would feel the same. But, with him being in the Warriors' Den, and seeming somewhat concentrated; she couldn't help but want to check up on him. Without thinking all too much on the decision, the eloquent she-cat began to approach the ebony feline. Not an ounce of her form showed inferiority or perhaps even anxiety; she was just casual about it, like she would be with any cat. As her paws met with the softer terrain below, the she-cat finally gave out a sigh of sorts, nestling her hind onto the earth. "Are you alright?" She asked, flicking her oculars towards the larger male in front of her. Her original reasoning of even entering the Warriors' Den had now been swatted away, and instead she was willing to just listen to anything that Fallenstar had to tell her. That was, if he felt comfortable doing so.

The feline was ripped from his thoughts by a simple question, which in turn came from behind him, causing the tom to swivel his head in order to see who the question came from. As his eyes focused on the form, which was slightly blurry at first due to the sunlight, he recognized the molly, almost instantly. He turned himself around and sat down, flashing the molly a momentairy smile before it once again disappeared as quickly as one would blink. His smiles were becoming even more rare as time went on, most felines would expect a smile from the burly tom whenever his eyes met that of another, but nowadays he only smiled to be polite.

Fallenstar nodded his head and kept eye contact with the pale ginger feline "Yea, everything's fine, just trying to figure out how to take my nest to my new den...it's a lot harder than I believed it to be." he said sheepishly, what kind of leader can't figure out such a simple thing? "Anyway's what are you doing up so early? I believe you were up before me. Is everything alright?" he asked, tilting his head to the side. He knew Coralear was an early riser, but he was concerned she wasn't getting enough sleep. He was one to worry, but he hoped that it didn't seem so...creepy to worry about others. He cared, he cared immensely about other's well being, he often times just found it hard to show, but of course, to his relief, most of his clanmates understood where he was coming from. But he rarely spoke with the fiery feline.

And in my head I heard them play a song
For you and me

Let's get lost at sea
Where they will never find us

Got stars at night to guide us

A single brow dropped downwards in quizzicality, and Coralear couldn’t help but tilt her head sidewards at the tom’s downbeat manner. Her small stature contrasted greatly with his own, as well as her pale flank basically screaming that the two were quite different in their appearance. A mere flick of the tail followed as the she-cat threw her gaze towards the male’s nest, a bittersweet smile lurking upon her delicate features. She could understand why he wanted to move it, instead of having to rebuild the entire thing. One, because of the efficiency and lack of materials. Two, because of how many memories he could’ve made nearby it. Maybe Fallenstar’s nest held a few secrets or pains that the tom had felt throughout his life. Coralear certainly wasn’t going to judge him if the latter was true; hell, she almost felt an emotional attachment to her own bedding.

Swivelling around to face the leader, whilst weighing out her thoughts, the molly lifted a paw up to his side. She continued to run her paw-pad across his shoulder, in as soothing a way as she could muster. “I can help you move it if you wish... I could understand if you’d rather do it by yourself, though. Personal belongings and all that.” Uttering the last sentence, the petite female dragged her paw away from the ebony felid and began to make her way towards the front of him. A smile did not grace her features, however she did show a little emotion. It was fairly difficult to read what she was feeling, though. “Oh, you noticed? Guess I’ve been busted, huh?” She shook her head, letting out a soft chuckle at her own words, “No, no. Call me odd, but I just felt like I needed to do something. With all that’s been going on with the other clans lately, I thought I should make sure that everyone is safe and sound. I’m fine, honestly. Just can’t stand lying down for such a long period of time.” Coralear gave a sigh, once again tossing her cranium from side to side. It was true. She hated to sit down, doing nothing but breathing. It made her feel guilty, perhaps, that she wasn’t helping out more; despite knowing that she actually did do quite a lot for the clan. The molly kind of just enjoyed having her mind set on completing tasks, and when she got the satisfaction of completing them it was even more enjoyable!
