My Mood: Asleep

Default A Day's Worth {Private}

There comes a time in every Molly's life where she just wanted to leave the security of her home and seek out...well, new adventures. She didn't care where she was going, just s lovely stroll through the forest. Plus, she wasn't that far from Windclan - had she looked back, she could see the land, right? In order to test this theory, Moondream stopped, her pelt comforting her like a fluffy blanket. The small thing lifted her neck as high as she could, but she couldn't see the moorlands. "Goodness! Am, I really that far...?" She muttered, the sides of her mouth making a disturbing expression.
Maybe, she should had walked back, but she wanted to escape from much chaos. They all were still quite shaken up, preparing for war with their enemies. Moondream wouldn't want to fight. She was too delicate for that! On the other hand, it didn't mean that she didn't know how to fight. She knew how to pounce well, sink her claws deep into that crimson liquid...since she was more pleasing to the eye, Moondream preferred messing around rather than getting an inch of dirt on that cloudy pelt of hers. If she were honest, as selfish as it sounded, she would use her clan mates to shield her from getting a scratch on her pelt. It sounded evil...but didn't she deserve it? She didn't think life was fair to her! So, she didn't have to be fair to anyone else.
It was the sudden thought that made Moondream realize that she was her own cat. She did not have to listen to anyone. Did not. So, she continued to walk. One delicate paw stepping forward each step. She didn't bother to pay any attention to her surroundings. Or, the thought of her life. If she had been smart, she would had never left the Marks of her territory. But, she needed some fresh air, a little time to breathe before she went back to Windclan. Most likely her uncle and her friends would bombard her with questions that she didn't feel like paying heed to.
The one good thing about this forest was the trees. Trees, and trees, and more trees. The comfort they brought, the secrecy they held...Windclan lacked trees. They lacked the confidential state that every cat wanted. Windclan was so...plain, in her opinion. Yet, it was her -
Thoughts interrupted. Her steps came to a halt. The molly flicked her ears back, emitting out a snarl when she heard the patter of another. They were around her, their squeaks carrying out. Moondream appeared smaller than how she would like, and she crouched to the ground. "That's a fox," she whispered. "Oh, just great! Can this day get any worse?" She muttered, a sour expression crossing her features. Apparently so, because the creature locked her in. And, now she knew the true reason to never go out escorted alone if you did not want to meet dire outcomes.
Foxes were a natural enemy of a cat. Though, they appeared much larger to her. She couldn't fight off foxes or badgers alone. They weren't what she considered to be "prey fight". The Molly's fur bristled, making her appear like a spiked ball, and she growled at her opponent. "Stay back!" She snarled. Obviously, they didn't speak her language, and doing the opposite of what was demanded, the fox sprung on her. She was the perfect target. Alone...weak...distracted. It was the perfect moment to catch her off guard. Moondream had clawed at her opponent, but she felt their grip tighten around her neck, and she yelped. She yowled loudly and furiously.
