Tiberius padded along a dark alleyway in the small city, the only light coming from a twoleg's flickering lamp overhead. His shadow was distorted from the odd light, and the tall tom cat twitched his whiskers. As he parted his jaws to scent, a raindrop hit his muzzle. Giving a cross sniff, the tom cat spotted a small overhang and quickly hurried over. As the rain fell faster, the youthful tom cat crouched beneath it, hoping the storm that had been gathering for a while now, would pass quickly.

Toren strode between two lamp posts, his sharp, keen gaze alert for movement in the seemingly abandoned alleyway. He was on the outskirts of town, and never met many cats here. Not polite, socially mature cats, anyways. Flicking his tail, he felt the familiar tension as that when rain is going to come. I'd better find shelter, or else get caught in a rainstorm. Making his mind, the young tom headed onward, a more urgency to his swift paw steps. As Toren neared the end of an alleyways, the familiar scent of cat bathed his tongue. He spotted a gaze form beneath a stone overhang, and cautiously made his way over; it was the only shelter, as far as he could see. The alleyways was all but bare rock and pebbles. And yet Toren was so intent on the stranger before him, that he didn't notice the rain on his back, slicking down his fur. "Hello," he meowed cautiously. "I don't see many around here. What do you go by? And where do you hail from?" Maybe this tom would have decent manners.
