{PLOT}
There is a secret lab, one the government doesn't know of. A lab that is full of many horrors. There is one goal for these evil, manipulative, scheming scientists: they want to create human animal hybrids out of innocent teenagers, making their subjects stronger and faster with heightened senses.

But for what?

When two teens, a boy and a girl, awake in the same cage, they realize they were subject to these tests. Using their newfound abilities and skills, and increased intelligence they plot to escape, hoping to save the other subjects as well.

Will they succeed in their plan?

Persona: shy, quiet, innocent, childlike. Easily scared, but can be brave at rare times.
Other: since she is part wolf, due to the mistake made by the scientists to add wolf DNA to her own, she has a craving for meat. This craving causes her to bite people sometimes, including the scientists :3 ((hahaha lolz I'm funny xD))

Shard is quiet, to the point where he barely ever speaks. He prefers to gesture and signal to other people rather than talking and only ever speaks when he can't convey his message without words. Shy at first, he quickly becomes attached to those who talk to him, and follows them around just as their shadow would. Tends to act like others once he learns their behaviour, in an attempt to mirror their personality to appear more appealing. One to make plans quickly, even when he knows they won't turn out well. Only willing to give things a shot when he has company.

Ruby was grabbed and roughly shoved in the truck, the door slamming shut. She cries out as she scrabbled around in the dark. The truck starts moving.

Ruby screams and pounds the locked door, then slams against it, trying to open it.

After a while, she gave up and settled in the corner, wondering where she was going.

She awoke, blinking sleepily. Feeling something cold and hard beneath her, she sat up. She gazed around. cage?

She noticed a boy in the corner of the cage and backs up. The sleeping boy seemed to be no threat, but she couldn't take any chances. She curled into herself, hugging her knees.

Where was she? What was going on?

She waited for the boy to wake up, noticing he had wings. She curled her tail around her legs.

wait? Tail?

She was really confused and freaked out now.

Shard lay unconscious on the cold base of the metal cage, virtually unmoving besides the slight rise and fall of his chest with each breath. As he eventually woke, the boy remained rather quiet, looking around groggily in confusion. Where was this? Why was he so cold? Shard's attention was drawn to the floor before he could even make sense of any other surroundings. He couldn't even feel the feathery extensions coming out of his back, let alone understand the situation he was in. He shook his head, blinking until everything came into focus. And once it had, he wasn't sure if it made more or less sense when he couldn't see. The place was unnaturally bright with artificial lighting, his movement restricted by the cage. He soon noticed the strange girl who shared this cage with him, small furry ears extending from her head and a tail curled around her legs. That couldn't be right... They seemed quite fixed to her body, not just some form of wearable gear. Seeing her own abnormalities, the boy looked about himself, patting his body down to search for any differences. With a slight brush of his hand against a few feathers, Shard's eyes widened. Those were... wings. Wings? They weren't fake, either... He extended one to test. Shard looked back at the girl in silent shock, not sure how to react. This was a lot to process, after all.
