The Ark

In the wake of an extinction level nuclear war, Aliens have come to Earth in an attempt to save the human race. Put into The Ark, pit against each other and some of the most dangerous creatures to live on earth, only the best will survive to carry on the human race.


This is an ark survival evolved roleplay, with a few things different from the game.

First off, there is taming. Anything that is not aggressive in the game is tamed by feeding it what it would normally eat. There are some creatures that are only aggressive if they outnumber you, and these, along with fully aggressive creatures, have to be tamed by finding a newborn and caring for it until adulthood. You may also tame non aggressive dinos in this way, but the parents will become aggressive towards you.

Secondly, there is no level system for humans or dinos,
Dinos become stronger as they get older, and humans get stronger by working out.


This will be taking place on The Island map, and there will be a list of dinosaurs that are here, as well as taking method.

Equus: Extremely rare in jungles/forests
Stegosaurus: Rare on beaches, uncommon in jungles/forests
Anky: common in mountains
Iguanadons: rare on beaches, uncommon in forests/jungles
Woolly rhino: uncommon in snow
Mammoth: common in snow
Megatherium: Rare in jungles/forests

Chalicotherium: Rare in jungles/forests
Raptor: uncommon on beaches, common in jungles/forests
Compy: common in beaches/forests/jungles

I'm sure I forgot some, tell me in pms if you have some that you want me to add, only dinos found on the island map please, no wyverns/rock golems/phoenixes

Real life creatures may be requested If they are not from modern times.

Correct grammar please. I don't care if you use a grammar checking machine or do it yourself, just in effort to make it readable

Decent posts that leave lots of room for replies, I'd suggest 3-4 sentences on average

DO NOT POWERPLAY/GODMOD
A raptor can't take on a rex and win for example, nor can a player without a mount run fast enough to escape one. Keep it realistic

No killing other people/their dinos without their permission

Name: Akitla Panare

Height: 4'10

Looks: Akitla is quite short, with slightly tanned skin. She has naturally dark brown, almost black hair. She usually has her skin cut to about her shoulders. She has slightly round features, and she's quite slim, not really having any visible muscles.

Personality: Akitla often doesn't trust others quite easily, and she's short-tempered, and can be quick to snap something back at someone. She mostly lacks a sense of humor. She isn't the most sociable type, though she doesn't really fall under 'anti-social'

Strengths: Trusting others, having independent mindset, non-ranged combat

Weaknesses: Trust, long-ranged combat and some awkward situations.

Fears: the ocean

Others: I accidentally closed the original tab with my almost complete form on it, so yeah- also I'll pm some of the dinos you're missing

Name: Axel Larne
Height: 6'5"
Looks: A thin but muscular figure, with shaggy light brown hair. He has slightly tanned skin and brown eyes.
Personality: Axel Is very untrusting and passive aggressive towards most people, but with those that manage to earn his trust, he will put his own life on the line to keep them safe
Strengths (physical+mental): He is quite strong and fast, and more than smart enough to stay alive. He doesn't fall for traps easily, and is quite capable in most survival situations.
Weaknesses (typically physical): He is much smaller in frame than most other people in the ark, which allows them to overpower him easily, and is quite confident in his abilities, causing him to be overconfident at times and put himself in danger
Fears: Losing those that he cares about, confinement
Other: There are some dinos i just haven't chosen which tame category to put into, as i dont want op dinos in the food tame area but some are just in grey areas in terms of power. I'm thinking about moving the stego, bronto,
and diplo to baby tames atm, simply because they have so much power potential
