Sunmist trailed into camp behind the rest of the dawn patrol, eyes fixed on the fresh kill pile. The tom was starving, and his rumbling stomach had caused a few jokes to be thrown his way during the patrol. Normally he'd make himself hunt before eating anything, but he promised that he could make up for this by hunting later. He had, after all, done something for the clan this morning, so it wasn't like he was eating before doing his duties. Picking up a frog, he turned and moved in the direction of his usual spot, finding that a molly was already seated there. Not one to be deterred by others, he padded to her and sat down. Hey, Sundrown. Mind if I join you?" The golden tabby didn't know Sundrown all that well, but he was sure she wouldn't be bothered by some company. At least, he hoped she wouldn't be!

"Great," Sunmist smiled before settling in and taking a bite of the frog, chewing slowly before he swallowed. "So, how've you been adjusting to clan life? I hope everyone's been treating you well?" The tom knew all to well that not all his clanmates were friendly to newcomers.

"It's good. Not everyone is friendly though." Sun'drown said, looking up at Sunmist. She took another bite of her mouse and swallowed it, looking up at Sunmist again.

amazonpaw noticed stormpaw's awkward behavior and padded up to her friend. "nice moss you got there," she commented, catching the moss and tossing it back up for stormpaw. "how's it going?" she inquired of her fellow apprentice, smiling in a friendly modus operandi.

"Being an apprentice is great!" she started, tossing the moss back, "I just wish I could do more battle training. Fallenjump is way too serious, aswell!"

"me and milkweed havent even started training, so don't you go complaining!" she responded playfully. amazonpaw hoped that they would start soon, but so far, no luck. at least stormpaw had gotten some training. maybe stormpaw could share some of that knowledge with amazonpaw, so that she would be good when milkweed finally started training with her. "can you teach me a little something? you seem like youd be good at training."

amazonpaw laughed. "i mean, technically that counts as training," amazonpaw commented, then nodded at the piece of moss. "is that from your bedding?" she asked, looking from stormpaw's bedding to the piece of moss they were tossing about.
