Darkray nodded, maneuvering his dark paws carefully over the mud. He brought the bird with him, sure to keep the dirt off it.

Cloversun began to scrape away moss off a stump, only to realise that is was dirtier under than ontop. She turned to the next one. "Here, put the bird on this." She looked around for the toad. Upon finding it, she pucked it up and placed it down on the stump.
