Smokey didn't notice her and gently protected Joey with his tail and then climbed out the box going back to the trashcan

Joey smiled hopping out of Smokey's tail blanket and said "Hi I'm Joey and the tom in the trashcan is my dad Smokey he has trust issues sometimes." Smokey looked from the trash can about to fall out of it and so he used his hind claws grabbing the mental of the trash can and landing on his feet showing his scarred face

Smokey says as he sits on the ground showing his burned underbelly "I only have trust issues because my ex owners let the house me and my mate lived in burn and Joey was only 2 weeks old so I grabbed him,I tried to grab my mate but she said she'd find another way out of the house but when the smoke and fire ended I went to find her but she wasn't there I looked for her for 45 days and never found her. So she probably has a new mate or she just never wanted me and Joey to find her."
