aren't they? His mind thought dully, his ears still perked up to listen to Shadow. "I understand." He said in a not so excited tone, his gaze fixating on her face again as he nodded. If there was anything that Icarius would remember, it would be those berries. The young tom's gaze then looked to the berries as they were carefully pushed away from the other herbs before he was right back to paying attention to the she-cat, the tip of his tail twitching before curling over his paws. Part of him wanted to wash his paws with the moss too, even though he hadn't even touched the berries, but he knew it would look stupid, or maybe even make him look paranoid, so he refrained from doing so.
"I'm really, really ready! Like, you don't even know how ready I am, that's how ready I am!" There it was, his excitement and eagerness to learn flaring right back up again. But the idea of the death berries was still stuck in his head. And surely would be for a long time.

Shadow watched as a small tint of fear showed in the cat. Watching his body language. Her blue eyes glanced at the herb pile, and back at her store. There were still many herbs he had to see, and he needed experience. She flicked her tail, smiling at the tom. Shadow touched her muzzle to the top of his head slightly pulling away and looking him in the eye. "Okay, I'll make sure Halite knows." She mewed. Shadow grabbed the pile, flicking her tail as she moved them to the side. "Now, lets see how much you remembered and help me put these away."

The black and white cat nodded. "Got it."

Coco grabbed another (leaf I think?)," this is borage, it dries up a queens milk." (or it makes milk...ik there's a major difference)

Coco padded over to some red berries. "What are these?" She asked, bending down to sniff at it.

Spicy meowed swiftly," Death Berries. They'll kill someone almost instantly if swallowed." He meowed.

Coco reeled back so fast she stumbled. "Woah!" When she regained her balance she meowed,
"Those can do that? Then why have them!"

Spicy meowed," Yeah, they can do that if you swallow them, but sometimes we can save a cat. We keep them for cats sentenced to death, we tell them to swallow it then send them out to fight to death, they'll die anyones in a few minutes, but we do it just in case they are more powerful than the opponent they still won't live. When kits accidently swallow it, since it looks tasty, and smells tasty, usually we use a leaf or our paws to scoop it out, then..." he grabbed a herb, Yarrow specifically," we give them this to swallow, it's yarrow, it will make them throw up that gives them a chance of living, though not always, and the sooner the better."

Coco nodded. "Okay, then we'll just keep kits out."
