(Public) A barn hunt

Maple walked towards the barn, carrying a juicy mouse in her jaws. She was proud of her catch and was much more excited to have seemingly found a place she could stay. The clouds started to roll in, it looked like quite a storm was coming. She shivered at the thought of being stuck outside during yet another thunderstorm. Her thick fur would cling to her body and make it hard for her to move. She quickly ran towards the barn, the rain slowly started to pour down as she slithered herself inside. She shook her long Maine Coon calico fur, trying to get any bit of water she may have got off of her. She looked around, putting the mouse down to get a good sniff of the barn.

Shade poked her head through the top window of the barn. She and Wind were a long way from Darkforest. Her ear twitched and Shade got the feeling that someone was watching her.

Maple looked around before letting out a fairly loud meow “anybody here?” She kept sniffing around, she could smell cat but couldn’t quite tell how fresh It was. Her belly growled it’s protests of her not having yet eaten. She laid down next to her mouse and began to eat it. It felt like she hadn’t eaten in over a moon @Starface

Night watched the Maine Coon she cat eat. She was quite pretty, and one of the few Maine Coons he had met, a cat like himself. "Hi" he called, dropping lightly down from the barn rafters. "Who might you be? ... Are you having a good day?"

Maple gasped a bit, picking up her mouse and backing away from the unfamiliar cat. She put the mouse down behind her, looking at the Tom, he didn’t seem like a threat. “Hello. My name is Maple. Are you the cat that lives in this barn?” She asked, the fur on the back of her neck still on end. @WhiteStripes

"I'm Night, yes, this is my barn," Along with a few other cats. I'll choose not to reveal them now, they weren't great friends but they got along fine, and Night wouldn't tell the she cat about them. " You can stay for a while if you want, Maple."

Maple nodded, accepting the kind gesture to stay. She sat down and began to eat her mouse again, although there wasn’t much left of it at this point. @WhiteStripes

Night disappeared up into the rafters of the barn, with a goodbye to Maple, and telling to to ask is she has any problems. @Dawneye

Maple looked around the barn, still smelling other cats. She jumped up towards the smell “hello?” @WhiteStripes @Starface

A grey she cat watched the calico Maine Coon eat. She would not reveal herself, and if the Maine Coon were to search for her, she would be lucky to escape the barn alive. If the Maine Coon let her be, then she could stay. The grey cat, although very small, was an amazing fighter. She had fought, and beat Maine Coons before.
The other two cats were better than the Maine Coon. If they bothered her, unlike Night and the she Maine Coon, they would escape with a warning. @Starface @Dawneye
