Snailkit took the time Icekit was down to pounce. They dropped into a sloppy crouch, wiggled their haunches, and then launched. Snailkit stood on top of Icekit, giggling uncontrollably.

Fishkit sighed glumly, shaking his head. “Mama said she’d be back, but it’s been three days..” the dark grey kit looked up sadly then turned to look at Lilycreek. “Why is it a secret?” he growled. “Why am I not allowed to know where my mama is?!” his voice grew to a roar. A small roar, but big for a little kit. “I..” he closed his eyes. “I need her..” he mewed sadly. He was gazing at the ground, lost for words until he heard what Lilycreek said next and immediently perked up.”Yay! What do we play?” it was like Fishkit didn’t even feel sad, he was the bouncy, shiny kit again. Let’s just hope Fishkit won’t know what happened to his mom…fufufuf

Snailkit weaved themself between Icekit's legs happily. "Really? Why are you dizzy?" They asked, already having forgotten about their earlier game.
