Minnowkit lay on her back staring at the roof of the nursery, she wasn’t mad about the small holes and cracks in the nursery… but she still felt most of them. Even though you could tell that summer was coming, the nighttime breeze still had the cold winter feeling. Minnowkit pawed at a small leaf that she had found in the ground earlier. In the daytime it was quite a pretty leaf, but at night it was dull and colorless. Minnowkit often tried not to sleep, but of course, she usually did. Whenever she did fall asleep though, Minnowkit swore she felt the warmth of another cat with her, though when she woke up, no one was ever there.
Her ears perked up a bit as a soft voice came from one of the other nests. She recognized the voice of one of the queens who had recently kitted. Minnowkit was maybe a moon older than her kits. Blizzardnight! That was the name!
“Hi.” She sat up right in her nest and threw the leaf to the side.

Springkit stayed curled up in their nest, asleep not once bothered by the movement of her mother. This little kitten was favoring more sleep then waking up to see were mommy had went.

"Minnowkit, right?" Blizzardnight purred at the kit. "Are you OK? You are not cold or anything, are you?" She tried to remember who this kit's mother was, and why she had left her kit alone. She had a vague recollection of maybe something happening to her, and realised she had spent way too much time cuddling her own kits and not enough on the events of the clan. The black queen glanced back at her mewling kits. "Hush now, dears. I will be back momentarily."

Autumnkit struggled to remove the scowl from her face. "Why are you going?" she asked, her voice whining and desperate, "Come back! I have something to tell you-" But Blizzardnight had already left. Autumnkit's lack of scent would be brought up another time, it seemed.

Minnowkit stared up at the queen with round blue eyes. Of course she was cold, but she wouldn’t say that it would seem as if she was complaining, and from what Minnowkit had heard, complaining was extremely annoying.
“Yeah, I’m fine.” She smiled at Blizzardnight. But just then a cold wind found its way into the nursery and she shivered. Great, not it would seem like she had been lying, and that was worse!

Blizzardnight pressed her paw to the shivering kit's flank. "Sweetheart, you are not warm enough. Kits shouldn't be having to sleep by themselves. Would you like to join us?" She smiled down at her encouragingly.

Moonspot was curled up in her nest as she drifted in her dream galexy floating in her realm. she sometimes kept her ears open in case someone needed her or someone was talking to her, but most of the time she was just drifting in her galexy void dream. but all of a sudden she jumped feeling a sharp pang of pain from her belly feeling the kits starting to stir. her ears laied down worriedly as she looked around for lilycreek before saying "Miss lilycreek, i think my kits are comeing!" she said in a worring expression her tail soon moved to wrap around her belly abit to comfort the kits abit.

“Really?” She whispered then smiled widely “yes!”
She glanced over at the younger kits. One of them had asked her a question.
“You’re names… Amberkit, right? I’m Minnowkit.”
She then glanced back up at Blizzardnight “thank you!”
