Blackbird tilted her head. "No, I haven't... Would you like to try the trout?" she asked, nudging it with her paw. She probably shouldn't be offering the deputy of ThunderClan a snack at the end of leafbare, but she found it sad that any cat didn't know how fish tasted.

Snowsong smiled brightly, pushing the squirrel forward. "Sure! You wanna try the squirrel?" A part of the deputy screamed at her not to offer another Clan-cat food, but hey, the other she-cat was offering too! Snowsong looked at the trout with a curious expression, silently wondering what it tasted like.

"No problem!" Snowsong replied with a purr before settling down. She tucked her paws under her and bit into the fish, her eyes widening at once.

Blackbird took a bite out of the squirrel and blinked in surprise. It tasted like warmth to her, like greenleaf crossed with the water of the salty sea that wasn't to far from where she and the ThunderClan deputy were sharing prey.

"Exactly! I don't know how you ThunderClan cats can even live without fish, but I guess squirrel's a pretty great alternative," she admitted, taking a second bite of the fresh-kill. "It's really good!"

Snowsong laughed a little, finishing off the rest of the trout. She sat up and licked a paw, running it over her whiskers. "Fish is good. Squirrel's still my favorite though," she chuckled.

Blackbird took another bite of the squirrel. She was more of a slow eater and preffered to enjoy food when she could. "You sure?" she asked somewhat jokingly. "Scales not cutting it for you?" Taking a few more bites, she finished off the small prey.

"Rabbit must be like squirrel, 'cept full of heather," Blackbird predicted. "They're both furry, 'ren't they? I'm not an expert though... What's toad like?" she asked, tail swishing in the freezing sand.
