Ask the Medicine Cat Duo
Ask Us Anything
Featuring:
Bravestep and Thunderhowl, medicine cats long since gone and forgotten yet still willing to answer any questions you have. (Begrudgingly, in Thunderhowl's case.)
Thunderhowl does not have a character page, but he was a warrior who was crippled by a monster and forced into the life of a medicine cat, which resulted in him becoming angry and bitter toward StarClan and his life. Once his former mentor died, his only real friend became Bravestep despite their drastically different personalities. He's quite fond of his former apprentice, although he won't admit it. He served ShadowClan through part of Deceptionstar's reign, but he hated the leader with a passion and was disgusted by how his Clan-mates bent to the murderous tom. He was crushed by a falling tree while walking through ShadowClan territory.
Bravestep is the dapper-looking gentleman to the left of Thunderhowl. He grew up in ShadowClan afraid of his own shadow, the darkness, and everything that goes bump in the night. Shortly after receiving his warrior name, Thunderhowl took him on as a medicine cat apprentice, and Bravestep became fond of this grumpy fellow as they enjoyed many moons of glee and mirth (not really) during his training. Thunderhowl's death hit him hard; however, Bravestep's upbeat demeanor returned in StarClan once they were reunited. Also, he's still afraid of his own shadow.
@ Rose Queen will attempt to do image responses, but it is not guaranteed.

"Embarrassing, you say? Aah-ha, I suppose I do ..quite unfortuntely--might I add!--have a moment of such embarrassment.
I was strolling through the territory one fine day, as jolly as could be! Then, I happened to spot a little insect on a leaf -- ohoho, a fine day indeed! I must admit I was perhaps a bit too close to the plant as I examined the tiny creature, for I started to realize there was a burning sensation around my muzzle. Dare I say it was more unpleasant than a mouthful of yarrow!
My muzzle was positively on fire, so I ran to Thunderhowl as quick as my legs could carry me--yes, I did! He fixed me right up, but of course then came explaining how I'd gotten into that predicament..
Alas, I do feel the majority of my life was an embarrassment, so perhaps that counts as well?"
----------------------------------------------------------------
"There was a pawful of orphaned kits in ShadowClan when I first started training as a medicine cat apprentice... no one paid them much mind, either, with all the chaos within the Clans.
So, one day I, uh, stole a berry from Aurorawing's herb supply. Opened it up with my claw an' shoved my nose into it so it stuck on. Then I went on over to the nursery and gave them a visit. Wanted to make them smile and cheer 'em up a bit so I went for the goofy faces and tried to do some tricks.
Between ending up on the ground 'cause my leg gave out and the confused look on lil Bravekit's face, I'm not sure I made their day. 0/10, would not do again."

For both:
When was a time you made the least sense in a sentence? And, what did you say?
