peak sat in a tree above the watching the cats below. he didnt really understand why these cats felt the need to ague about who could go where. the forest was the forest and that was all. he flicked his tail and started clawing at the bark underneath him. he was supposed to be hunting right now but this was much more fun then running after mice

Man, WindClan cats were stupid! "I'm not hiding, dung-dip!" Hareflood snorted at the WindClan tom who seemed on edge. "Are you blind or something? I've been in plain sight this entire time."

The other two cats on the patrol seemed like a non-issue -- passive in nature, and Hareflood was ready for some trouble. "What do you want, rabbit chaser? If you think threatening me is going to do anything, you're dead wrong." He wasn't afraid of some skinny bunnies playing warrior. He was a badass after all!

To showcase that, he bared his fangs right back - a snarl ripping through his throat.

Goldenheart took a step back. “Sorry dude but nope. Not gonna do all that today. We’ve got enough problems as is.” He mewed looking around at the others for backup in this thought. Couldn’t they just, I don’t know, go home? Seemed like the best option here.

Do you want Dawnstar to have our tounges,We might as well scare this guy off and then be done with it,were 3 trained warriors againest 1 hopefully trained rando,Buckstar cant even say it was unjustice when they stole prey from us. Blazefrost reasoned,he replied to his patrol mates anger rising in her voice he was trying to not die 1 day into Dawnstars leadership,the ginger tom turned back To Hareflood. Give us your name,we'll have to report you stealing prey,maybe she'll bring it up at the next gathering

Maplebird let out a small sigh before approaching Blazefrost. "I don't think we need to mention the you-know-what situation. But yeah, you over there shouldn't have crossed our border."
And in a more quiet voice to her patrol mates; "We should probably just let him off this one time..."

Enough problems as it was.

Alone that wouldn't have been suspicious, but the mention of Dawnstar piqued Hareflood's interest and he laughed. "What, does your Clan suck so much it can't even rely on it's own leadership anymore? How pathetic! I always knew WindClan was a failure but this takes the bait." He tipped his head to a side, unable to hide a smirk. "Try me, skunk-face. Your patrol mates don't want to fight and frankly, I think I could take a little bunny like yourself." For all the bravado Blazefrost tried to go for, it wasn't working. Especially now that Hareflood knew Dawnstar was running the place.

Oh. He stiffened when he registered what the quieter cat was -- a female. Ugh, great, another lady who was going to think he was some loser.. "Right, well." He huffed quietly, stepping back from the border line and straightening his posture to look more presentable. He wasn't just going to run off with the guys around, but he wasn't going to hang either. "Maybe if you didn't want the border to be crossed you should have marked it sooner. Leaving it alone for weeks isn't winning you rabbit-brains any favors."

He turned and stalked off into the underbrush, ears flattened back. Knowing ShadowClan ran the moorland was great news, but now he wanted to leave the bird as a tribute somewhere.. he just needed to find it first.

Goldenheart sigh, well what a relief. He wasn’t one to like fighting, although he would. He just gets too into it is all. “Do we report this to Dawnstar?” He asked hesitantly.

"I guess... we don't really have anyone else to report it to after all-" Maplebird highly doubted Dawnstar would do anything, but they might as well try. "The Thunderclanner was right about one thing. We definitely need to mark our borders more...
