The young apprentice groaned in annoyance from her mentor pestering her to wake up. She got up slowly and locked eyes with Dandelionfreckle.
“I’m up, okay?,” she commented as she quickly groomed her thin hazel-colored pelt.
Her eyes met her mentor’s trying to see if she would give her enough time to make her pelt sit nicely before their hunting session for today. She was happy to be an apprentice, but boy did she hate having to wake up at the crack of dawn every day.
