Oakfall followed Browntail's gaze to the kits playing about. They all looked the same to him but he wasn't sure what it was that made them like that. Maybe because they're all so small... Oakfall held back a long breath. I don't want to show Browntail that Thunderclan are weak. "Of course! I'm sure no cat would mind." He bit his tongue slightly worried that the new she-cat wouldn't want to leave. Thunderclan welcomes cats. That's what Snowstar said...

"Wonder why 'Mr. Stick' is always out to get you. You cant catch a break!" She snickered, batting at one of the pieces of the broken stick as she continued. "And now he's dead. Oh Mr. Stick, you were evil, but you brought back so many memories." She sighed theatrically. "Rest in...Pieces." The last word sent her into a fit of giggles, her ice blue eyes wide and sparkling with pure amusement. "Get it? Pieces?" She laughed again, a huge, bright smile on her face.

Snowsong smiled over at the gray Tom when her laughter died down, and nosed his shoulder gently. "Oh yes, Stormy. No stick could ever show you up, you are after all the boss around here, and now Mr. Stick knows." She purred, allowing her tail tip to gently flick over his ears before she stepped over the remains of the stick, heading over to the squirrel that her mate had dropped. "Now, I bet murdering that stick must have worked up an appetite, huh?"
If cats could blush, Stormstrike would probably be doing that right now. It wasn’t very often that he managed to get a compliment from someone, so he couldn’t exactly say that he was used to it. Not being all that well known, and not being the most popular cat either meant that he was rather new to some factors of socialising. Making sure that he didn’t stutter, he quickly responded. “Why thank you. It’s such a shame that I couldn’t say the same for you,” he replied teasingly, nudging her shoulder with his own. But that was definitely a lie. If she really wasn’t irresistible, then why had he fallen for her?

“Oh I’m sure he’s just jealous of me for having such a beautiful best friend and mate,” Stormstrike purred, feeling his pelt heat up as he said so. At least he could be proud that he had said that. If he were still an apprentice, he would never had said anything even close to that. No, he would’ve probably shied down in embarrassment. That was the kind of cat he had been in those days. But since then, he had changed a lot. He had grown more confident, and bolder around Snowsong. The she-cat’s next words made him laugh. Of course, he instantly understood the joke. The two cats both had some sort of chemistry between them that made them understand each other. They hadn’t become best friends for nothing. “I’m sure all of his pieces will have a wonderful afterlife,” he joked, the amusement of the situation reflecting in his pale aqua eyes.

“I didn’t need any competition, so I just got rid of the threats,” he said in a mocking tone of modesty, chuckling softly. “I wonder how long Mr Stick had been planning against me for,” Stormstrike then murmured, joking humour in his orbs. “Of course it did. Murdering sticks takes a lot of effort you know,” Stormstrike continued as his attention momentarily flickered to the fluffy furred animal. He padded after Snowsong, picking up the squirrel again as he reached it. “Now where were we before Mr Stick so rudely interrupted us? Or more specifically me,” the warrior asked, his voice muffled by all the fur that the creature had.

"Watch where your going." an agitated mew reaches his ears as quickly as a red tail slides off his chest. Echospeck only sees enough of the cat to recognize him before he slips into the warrior's den. Berrystripe? He catches up to Silvercloud, though his focus now is on what could've happened with Berrystripe.

~

Nettleclaw's head grows hot. His ears perked, tail lashing, claws kneading the dirt. But... She's right. One moment he's ready to bite her throat, the next, his head drops low, ears flat and tail lifeless. Feeling cold as ice, he turns away, steps out of the opening enough to see the two off into the territory. He could feel his heart fracture as he thought if there was anything he could do, with no being the most pronounced answer.

Now he just looks like a lump blocking half of the apprentice den entrance. Bearpaw hisses making his way around the two weirdos, stepping on Briarwish's ear and batting Nettleclaw's tail out of his way. "Get a den!" He squeaks with his frail voice, not knowing the situation nor caring, then picks up speed further into the clearing knowing Briarwish might come after him.
[/CENTER]
Silvercloud had already started to pad towards the camp entrance, not noticing that she had left Echospeck behind to bump into another clan mate. But really, the tabby she-cat hadn’t actually realized that she had left him behind. Her mind had managed to wander off already as a rare, excited grin grew on her maw. Silvercloud rarely expressed her emotions on her face. Except, she made exceptions for a few special cats. Like Echospeck. Oh this is going to be great fun! Silvercloud thought excitedly, taking no notice of the fact that she sounded like a kit. The warrior didn’t care what they were going to do, she just wanted to spend as much time as possible around Echospeck. She glanced back to see if the tom was still following, only to find confusion flooding over her like a wave. It wasn’t long before she spotted the tom. “Are you coming?” She asked, doing her best to keep the excitement out of her voice.
~
Whilst most would’ve felt rather guilty, Briarwish didn’t. She didn’t feel even the slightest of regret for her words. She was a bold cat and believed that the truth was better than lying. Why would you want to lie? Sure the truth could hurt, but it was better than living knowing that it wasn’t true. The she-cat wasn’t planning on comforting him either. This tom’s love life wasn’t her business, except for laughing at his missed opportunities.

A sharp hiss escaped her maw as something stepped on one of her ear’s. Looking up with narrowed eyes, irritation bubbled in her as she saw who it was. Her own apprentice. “I suggest you don’t speak so rudely to me, unless you would like to spend a few moons cleaning out the nursery and getting rid of the elders ticks!” Briarwish snapped. As Bearpaw dashed into the clearing, Briarwish followed. She couldn’t let her apprentice get away with that. She was a strict mentor, well, she was strict with everything. This grumpy she-cat had a short temper and she didn’t stand for disrespect. Looking back, she realized that she had left her new ‘friend’ in the apprentice’s den. “Well come on! You’re blocking the entrance!” The tabby snapped.

He didn't mind such greetings, after all it was a great way to make memorable moments, and honestly weird greetings were his favorite way to do it. Although she didn't say anything weird or do anything weird he managed to make it weird, and thinking of that just made the Tom laugh even louder. After many moments of laughing he finally took a few deep breaths and wiped his eyes with the back of his paw, a few giggles escaping his lips. "I- hah, I don't believe we have. It's very nice to meet you! My names Dayhum." he purred, his tail flicking back and forth a low hum coming from his throat. After a few seconds of staring, wondering why her gaze kept flicking to the spot next to him he let out a gasp and laughed again "Ah! I'm sorry! I thought you were looking at a spider next to me! Please lay down, rest. No need to ask...although I guess it's the polite thing to do huh. Oh hey! I think I've seen you around a few times...I think. Oh no I think that's someone else! Sorry forget what I just said." he laughed, his blue hues danced with joy. Dayhum shifted his weight onto his side and smiled brightly at his newfound friend "Hey, hey, which one do you like more? Birds or mice?? Oh! Oh! Would you rather eat a fish or fall face first in a pile of dung?" he asked, he couldn't help it, he was excited, he had just made a new friend.
Her gaze had lingered on the spot next to the tom for a moment too long and she started to daydream. About what? Well, she didn’t exactly have much time to think about anything before she found herself jumping as the tom’s voice broke through her thoughts. “Your fur still looks intact to me,” Honeyvenom replied, a teasing look in her amber orbs. A small giggle escaped her mouth at his cheerful words. It was always nice to meet a new friend. Every cat was different in terms of personality, and it was always interesting for Honeyvenom to see the wide range of personalities. The tom in front of her looked a few moons younger than she was. Some cats didn’t like making friends with a cat that had quite a wide age gap between them. But that wasn’t Honeyvenom. No, the she-cat was open hearted and welcomed everyone as a friend. She didn’t judge others, for that would just be plain rude.
So without wasting another moment, the she-cat sat down next to the tom, wrapping her tail neatly around her paws. Her amber gaze scanned the camp with a calm look in them. Life was pretty peaceful these days. Ever since SkyClan had come and gotten rid of Ratnight and the other evil leaders, the clans had been at peace. The she-cat had heard here and there that some trouble had been stirred up with ThunderClan and WindClan, but other than that life was generally calm.
Her attention flickered back to the tom as he spoke again. The amusement was clear in her expression as she listened. It wasn’t very often that the she-cat managed to come across a cat as bouncy and enthusiastic as this tom. It took her a few moments to process what he had just said, seeing as he had spoken quickly, but she managed. “Well, I prefer mice since you don’t get feathers stuck between your teeth, and I would much rather prefer to eat a fish,” Honeyvenom said, laughing softly at the end. The optimism that came from Dayhum was something that she hadn’t had a taste of in quite a few moons. It was something that just seemed to automatically brighten up her day. And she liked it. The ginger tabby was sure that she would become great friends with this warrior.
“How are you fairing on this fine day?” She asked as her soft chuckle went away. She herself was doing quite well, seeing as New-Leaf was settling itself in quite nicely. Prey was coming out, making hunting easier. As much as she loved seeing the beautiful snow of Leaf-Bare, she hated seeing her clan mates starving with the lack of food. New-Leaf was always a relief, knowing that prey would once again be plentiful. Glancing up the sky, Honeyvenom could see that there was hardly any clouds in the sky. It was clear and in the distance, the warrior was pretty sure that she could see a flock of birds flying.
Nature was a wonderful thing and something that the ginger tabby appreciated. Where would they be without nature? Living in a twoleg den? It wasn’t very normal for Honeyvenom to make rude judgements and dislike a certain idea, but the idea of living with twolegs sounded unpleasant. Life was probably much louder with those monsters, and the food that she had heard that kittypets ate, didn’t sound very appetising either. Apparently they looked like rabbit dropping. Imagine eating that! No, the life of a warrior was for Honeyvenom, and she definitely wouldn’t have it any other way.

Bored she-cats are the best, because they have nothing better to do, so they can focus all their attention on you.
Sunpaw purred at his own cleverness,
and began to walk towards the gray-furred she-cat. Sun was pretty good with names, and he groped his mind for this particular apprentice's. Ah, I remember it now. The golden-furred tomcat made his way smoothly over,
not too fast as to appear eager, but not too slow as to appear hesitant. He knew what he was doing. Once he reached the she-cat, Sunpaw spoke. "Hello Raccoonpaw. What a lovely day it is, isn't it?" Perfect. Start off with a gracious greeting, then slowly move on to the compliments. Sunpaw sat down next to her. "Why, you seem very bored. I wouldn't think a she-cat as smart or pretty as you would ever get bored." Sunpaw leaned a little closer, as if sharing a secret. "I know I wouldn't." There! End it with a small smirk, and you're sure to have her hooked. Sunpaw followed his mind instructions, and awaited Raccoonpaw's response.
Pretty could be a loosely said term for this she-cat, she had a more rough appearance than anything, tufts of fur sticking up here and there, her fur relatively unkempt, blades of grass sticking to her, a few pieces of leaves sticking to her and her tail a bushy mess. She certainly didn't try to make herself pretty that was for sure, she had never been one to pride herself in her appearances, more so her ability to be just her.
The grey and black she-cats ears perked up when she heard a cat approach and hardly glanced over at them, probably just another elder getting ready to squawk at her for not doing her duties and just lounging around camp, man those old coots could get annoying. But when she glanced over she didn't see an elder approaching, but an apprentice. She didn't exactly remember his name, but she felt like she's seen him around camp once or twice, didn't really know anything about him.
"Lovely day? Pfft yeah right, haven't had much fun all morning, the old cats have been on my case since the crack of dawn it feels like." She grumbled out in slight agitation but her face showed nothing of it as she turned back towards the leaf.
"What does my looks have to do with me getting bored?" She snorted with a slight smirk, flashing another glance his way before yawning and sitting up and looking over the clearing, most of the other apprentices were out training like good little cats. "You like to imagine your pretty?" She questioned with an even bigger smirk, now looking over at him for a moment before snorting and looking back at the clearing.
"Look, I've met plenty of cats to know that you're not just coming over here for a chit-chat, what do you want? Want to go out hunting or something?
Or just appreciate my looks.
" Straight and to the point really, as she usually is when she's bored.

Kestrelpaws ears twitched with amusement, he never showed much emotion but he actually thought the prank was actually pretty funny. "Well, my name is Kestrelpaw. I guess its a type of bird so you were close enough." He let out a light chuckle as he spoke. He ran his paw over his head a few times, his fur was still messy from jumping into the air. "You know, your pranks aren't as stupid as every cat says there are." He mewed. He tom began to clean his paws and kept his ears turned towards Raccoonpaw just in case she spoke. He wondered why so many cats had issues with her, 'Maybe it's because she doesn't know when to stop with the pranks?' He thought. He finished cleaning his front paws and observed Raccoonpaw for a few moments, he could see why she was called Raccoonpaw. The toms blue hues seem to bore into Raccoonpaw, although he was really just lost in his thoughts and hadn't realized he was staring.

Snowsong giggled, rolling her eyes playfully at his words. She knew he was only joking; That was how Stormstrike was. "Im not? Well then, I guess you just love me for my personality. I can live with that." She smirked, flicking her tail tip softly over his ear. She mostly loved how even after they had confessed their love to eachother, it had been all too easy to return to playing and goofing around as they always did. They'd been together all their lives so...It wasnt even that hard.

At his next words, Snowsong felt her fur beginning to heat up, and a small smile twitched at her lips. "Aww, arent you sweet." She chuckled, nosing his cheek gently as she grinned. "I bet he's also jealous that you're way more good looking than he is." She laughed softly, smiling at the Tom. He definitely was good looking, in Snowsong's opinion. But she more preferred who he was on the inside, thats what mattered. His looks were definitely a bonus though. As he laughed at her joke, Snowsong chuckled as well, amusement glittering in her ice blue hues. "Certainly. Just watch out, his son Stick. Jr. might come after you for revenge!" She teased, letting out a mrrow of laughter.

"Well it certainly was a brave thing to do." Snowsong smirked, nudging her shoulder against her mates with a chuckle. "Obviously for a while! He's been after you since we were kits." Snowsong had to laugh at the memories of the two, Snowsong always being there to help him to his paws after he fell down even when they were so little. The thought made her smile softly. They were always best friends, from the moment they could see eachother to right now. That was the way it would always be, right? "Well we were heading over to the shade to eat that delicious...Plump...Squirrel.." Snowsong licked her lips mockingly, eyeing the squirrel in Stormstrike's jaws before giggling and smiling at her mate. "So, shall we?"

She carried out her duties like a normal warrior, albeit more quietly as she had been when first meeting others. She rolled her eyes at the explanation he gave her although something bothered. Did the tom get angry at her for no reason? He hadn't really answered her, or she asked the wrong question. The she cat, wrapped her tail around her paws, "You were angry at me?" She shrieked, trying to retain her laughter. "What did I do in order to get you mad at me?" Her eyes light up in mischief as she addressed him. Though he must already knew that she forgave him. In fact, she never was mad at him. Blackcrystal brought herself closer to the tom, despite his ragged fur, she gave him a light friendly nuzzle. "Well, I did miss your company if I'm being honest." She started to notice his skinny composition--noticing that he was never like that before. She worried with her eyes, but she didn't say anything on it. She was afraid if she did, he would become defensive again. The black she cat did not feel like eating alone once more.
Orangetail flicked his ears nervously, "Well, I just got my feelings hurt over something you said." He didn't really want to answer her question. He didn't want her to know he had feelings for her. He smiled a bit when he saw the mischief in her eyes, he chuckled a bit "You missed a mousebrained tom like me?" He said in a joking tone. The tom could see a hint of worry in his friends eyes and he knew it was because of how he looked. The tom had had depression when he was younger and after his falling out with Blackcrystal that depression came out a bit again. His stomach growled and he flatten his ears against his head, "Uhm.... Do you wanna go hunt or..." he said quietly.

(I forgot to mention he tries to be a jokester. It doesn't always work out too well)
"Rumpled or not, finish your meal quickly or there won't be enough time in the day for training."

@Serendipity

As they exited the nursery, Browntail looked back at the kits and smiled fondly. They reminded her so much of her kithood. She turned back out to the clearing and wondered if she should ask Oakfall what was wrong. He looked so sad in the nursery. The tabby shook off the thought. Make a good impression Browntail. You're rushing. She turned to her escort and smiled warmly. "They look to me like some fine future warriors."
