Lilacheart was gazing at Lightning. "He doesn't have many cuts, but the seem to have reopened quite a few times," she stated to Ivylake without taking her eyes off the kit. "The cuts aren't infected, but I'll give them marigold just in case."

Foreversong glanced at him in surprise. "Well, Wi- I mean, the kit, didn't seem to want to fight. In fact, she took as many precautions as possible in order to avoid bloodshed." She looked around, and sighed in relief when she found out that no cat heard.

Ivylake nodded. "We don't know if it's still in the territory or not," she meowed.
Lilacheart began putting cobwebs, marigold, and a bit of goldenrod on Lightning's cuts. "We should make sure the hunting and border patrols know to watch out for the fox," she replied.
Lightning pretended to be asleep.

Thunderbite flicked his tail in thought, "That's another thing, I find the fact that a kit is strong enough to defeat Clawstar is odd. I mean, she might have a really potent power, but she's just a kit and doesn't have as much experience. And why would DarkClan let someone like her pop up without warning us?"

"Hmmm...." Foreversong seemed to be lost in thought for a few seconds, before saying, "Maybe DarkClan couldn't see what would happen. Maybe they couldn't stop her from coming. Maybe she gets beaten in the end. Maybe they didn't see her as a threat. There are too many possibilities."
