The Juniper Club (kittypets, loners, and rogues)

The gentle padding of paws sounded as Dusty came into view, her light brown pelt rippling as she moved, positioning herself to be across from the garbage bin that Juniper was sitting on. She craned her neck to look up at the she-cat, with a flick of her left ear she spoke "Morning Juniper! how has your day been so far?" She shook her shoulders and gave her chest a couple of licks, the positivity the she-cat was emitting was overwhelming.

Fern sat in a shadow as he watched the cats. He didn’t feel like chatting with anyone just yet. He wante some alone time. The tom stood and stretched, then parted his jaws in a yawn. When he had finished he stood there for a few moments, his green gaze reflecting light. Fern blinked and slowly stepped out of the shadow. Once out in the open, he sat down and began licking his paws.

a small tom sat within a box, head resting on grey paws. his fur rustled in a breeze. amber eyes opened at the sound of dusty speaking, and narrowed at the chipperness of the words. now, the tom was kind and pushed himself into the risk of harm if it meant others were saved, but he was not the type of feline who was nice as soon as he woke up.
he stood and stretched, slinking from the comfort of the box. a black, grey and white pelt was shook out before he began to groom dust and other meddlesome things that were gathered within the night. the tom, by the name of august, swiped a precise tongue across long strands of fur, then began to clean his face. once finished, august sat as if he were a statue and merely scanned the area with an examining eye.

Brownie walked along the fence line his tail swaying behind him. He sat were he could over look at Jumpier from the fence. "Good morning!" He called down waving his tail in greeting.

Heather walked around the corner to report to Jumpier. "The Twolegs are massing in the old den again." She meowed in a mater of fact tone. She didn't like them massing with old dens, cats slept there.

Dusty stood up stretched, flexing her claws and muttered. "Again? I wonder what is with those twolegs" She wondered out loud, giving her pelt a shake she decided to go and hunt, since she felt a heavy sense of boredom on her shoulders. "I'll be back, just going to hunt for a bit." She spoke to nobody in particular and with a flick of her tail, was running in the opposite direction. She eventually made her way to an alleyway and began to look around, her jaw slightly open, to breathe in anything that was around. She smelt a mouse and saw a flash of grey pass her vision, she raced after it, jumping on the small, however plump creature, snapping it's neck easily. She picked it up and placed it off to the side. She kept hunting and managed to catch a crow and a magpie. She grabbed her prey and ran back to the group as fast as possible. Dusty arrived back at the group and set down her three pieces of prey "Help yourselves." She told the cats around with a smile.

Juniper sighed and looked up into the sky. A few white clouds scudded across the sky. She nodded her head at the report of twolegs gathering in the old den. It was a little worrisome...cats have made that place their home, the one place they can go to for warmth, food, and protection. Now it was up to Juniper to make sure her friends weren't harmed by them. She glanced down at Heather. "I need you and one other cat to bring the cats that live in the den here until the twolegs leave. We don't want anycat to get killed by the dolts." she waved her tail to Dusty as she went to go hunt.

Dusty flopped down in a sunny spot, eyes half closed and a sigh escaping her jaws. She yawned and rolled over, stretching in the warm rays with glee. She then sat up, waved her brown tail to Juniper who was just leaving and continued to laze around in the sun.

Personality: Feisty cat. She hates liars and traitors and prefers to settle things with unnecessary violence. She finds that a lot of cats will insult her for her kittypet heritage, and that has taught her that no one will fully accept her until she proves her worth. While trying to hide her problems with cold actions, she is really a skittish and afraid cat. When her reluctance to fight is pointed out, she will switch instantly back to her angry mask.
