Every pawstep on the rough ground gave him a new rush of hate. So much so, that when he was within reach of Morningblue, every inch of him was filled with loathing. The edges of his vision were going red. All he could see was Morningblue and the cat he was trying to protect. In a split-second descision, Sharppaw attempted to leap between them. His goal was to separate them, then spin around and claw Morningblue. His fight wasn’t with the other cat. Not yet. All he could think about was his crazed lust for blood to be spilt. For blood to splatter on the ground, to sink into the earth. He yowled angrily, attempting to bite Morningblue’s leg. If his leg was hurt, he’d go down. Then Sharppaw would kill him.

As a very-infuriated apprentice leaped for her brother, aiming for his leg, she smashed into him, blocking the attack and knocking him off balance. Frankly, she could care less about what her brother thought. Soon enough, the conversation they'd had previously would be reversed- he'd say he could take care of himself, and Jaystorm would respond she was only protecting him. After all, it's her "duty" as a warrior to protect her Clanmates. Scoffing, she looked down on the apprentice, aiming a quick fake-out blow to his ear and drawing back at the last moment, instead jabbing towards a showing joint on his leg- which would hopefully make it buckle.
Morningblue watched with a firm resolution not to leave his sister's side for a moment as the younger tom stalked closer. Then with all the speed and trickery of a Shadowclan snake, the apprentice leapt between them. The big blue tome tried to wheel around in a snarl, unaware of how close the apprentice had come to ending the fight and his life so quickly. But Jaystorm had barreled into the younger cat. The tom's eyes widened in horror. His sister only knew that this was an apprentice. She didn't realize how the threats he had heard from him, about killing his family. Jaystorm was fighting like an honorable warrior against an honorless cat who threatened murder. What would this apprentice do if she let him go free and he learned about her kits. They'd be apprentices soon, going on patrols and venturing close to the Shadowclan border unaware of the danger. And he couldn't hope to protect them all! Not forever! Without a solid thought in his head, Morningblue used all his weight to check his body against his sister's, trying to force her away from the younger cat. As he stepped between them, he left himself open to any number of blows. He didn't even look at Jaystorm. "A shecat? Fight me you little coward!" It was a single sentence, perfectly calculated to anger both cats: Sharppaw into attacking, and with any luck, Jaystorm into storming off in a huff, and getting far away from him... He didn't want her to see what he planned to do next... Sharppaw would not be walking away from this battle. Starclan, forgive me.

When Leopardpaw heard the attack orders from Shadowclan, she gasped, "What? No!" She quashed that first tremor of fear that shook her and sunk her claws in the ground and closed her eyes for a heartbeat to steady herself. When her eyelids fluttered once more, her eyes shone with a fierceness they had been looking earlier. Leopardpaw took a step forward, immediately spotting a famililar pelt showing through the crowd of grappling cats. The last time Leopardpaw saw this pelt it had pinned her mentor to the ground in the Thunderclan camp. And though, Honeyflower had assured Leopardpaw that she gave as good as she took, Leopardpaw was filled with an uncharecteristic surge of anger. She stalked towards her chosen opponent, head once again lowering to scowl at the grey tom. As much as her paws itched to charge at him, she had seen Ashnose in battle before and after hearing Honeyflower's words, knew she had to be careful to stay out of his grasp. @Thistledawn
Ashnose wasn't sure how he felt about this upcoming Gathering. ShadowClan had joined in on the attack of ThunderClan's camp not too long ago. The battle was hard. Ashnose had faced one ThunderClan she-cat (he hardly considered her so due to her background as a rogue) and hadn't even won that fight. ShadowClan had retreated from ThunderClan's camp before either cat had been defeated. That wasn't to say that both warriors had left battle unharmed. Ashnose had a cut above his right eye and another on his right shoulder. Tufts of fur has been pulled out in other places. Ashnose wasn't sure exactly what injuries he'd been to cause of for his opponent Honeyflower, but he'd fought as hard as he could during the battle. He was sure some part of her was still feeling the sting of his claws. Anyways, Ashnose wasn't sure how he felt about the Gathering tonight. ShadowClan hadn't won that battle and ThunderClan was made up of a group of insecure kitties looking to victimize themselves whenever they could. They surely wouldn't let ShadowClan forget how the battle had concluded.

The British Shorthair had brought up the back of the group of ShadowClan cats heading to the Gathering. He was able to make sure that his Clanmates made it safely the Seastones from here. That and he'd pulled a muscle while fighting Honeyflower as well. He still hadn't fully recovered from it and walked with a slight limp. The proud ShadowClan warrior didn't want all of his Clanmates watching him limp all the way to the Gathering, so he'd stayed towards the back where he could see, but not be seen. When the tom had finally caught up to the rest of the Clan, he noticed that ThunderClan was there too. Pelts of both Clans were bristling and teeth were bared, yet no blood had been drawn. Ashnose's heart began to race. He expected a little bit of verbal fighting from all of the Clans after the battle, but what if some cat attacked another? The tom shivered as he thought of StarClan sending clouds to cover the moon. There was a truce and the Clans' warrior ancestors expected their living kin to respect it.

Much to Ashnose's dismay, he heard the order to attack come from Goldenstar. No cat had missed a beat and had immediately jumped into battle. Ashnose, however, had stood frozen out of shock and possibly out of fear too. "No!" He yowled into the mass of fighting cats when he finally came to his senses. "The truce! Remember the truce!" Some part of him wanted a second chance to rip the fur out of some mouse-brained ThunderClan cats, but the ShadowClan tom was driven to obey the truce. He didn't want to face StarClan's wrath. "The truce! The truce!" He repeatedly yowled into the air. His pleas had only fallen on deaf ears. Panicked, the tom's amber eyes began to dart around. He'd briefly passed over a younger ThunderClan she-cat and moved on. Realizing a heartbeat later that this she-cat had her eyes set on the gray tom and was stalking towards him, Ashnose redirected his amber eyes back towards the she-cat. "Don't do this," The warrior pleaded. "StarClan will be angry; it's the night of the truce." Ashnose willed the ThunderClan cat to understand the severity of their situation.

Mistpaw dug her claws into an attacker and looked at Lightpaw who was attacking a cat too. She noticed a wound had opened and was now bleeding she hissed at the sudden sting of pain in her shoulder but she kept attacking cats who decided to attack her and Lightpaw. Mistpaw looked around for Hawkwing wandering where he was.

There was too much chaos to speak, but her body language clearly told Passionblaze to move on or face her. Halfgaze found that she was right when she doubted that he would fight her, as the frustrated tom moved off to let his anger out on someone else. The tortoiseshell let out a sigh of relief and turned to look at Goldenstar but before she could celebrate, Halfgaze was bowled over by another cat. The molly hissed and jabbed upwards with her paws to thrust her attacker away and stood facing him. It seemed that the Thunderclan warrior had attempted to step in for Passionblaze but had arrived slightly too late. Halfgaze growled and resumed a defensive position watching the tom with hawk-like eyes and waiting to strike until he was back on his paws.

Constellation
Dovecoo’s shoulder burned and she squinted her eyes shut against the pain, trying to ignore the foreign feeling of heat and a sticky substance leaking all over the shoulder. Even as a warrior, Dovecoo hadn’t been terribly fond of battles and tended to fight on the outskirts of the battle with less powerful cats. Therefore, she had few scars. This would be the biggest. Dovecoo shrunk down farther as the Thunderclan warrior lunged again, expecting the feeling of her claws taking through her skin once more. Instead, she felt nothing and heard the thud of a body and the slam of paws on the ground. Peeking open her blue eyes, Dovecoo let out a sigh of relief at the sight of Honeythistle preotecting her.

Piperwing lunged at the white feline once more, only to be thrown to the side by a much larger Shadowclan cat. Her head hit the ground hard and Piperwing was dazed for a moment. She got to her paws and shook her head, feeling blood trickle down the side of her head. She ignored it and growled at the second attacker. The sandy feline’s heart almost stopped when she saw the size of the cat before her. Piperwing was as fiery as they come and never hesitated in battle, but even she had to admit that her opponent was huge. Accepting that the battle was going to be incredibly tough didn’t mean she didn’t intend to fight it, though. Her eyes flicked to the cat behind him and she sneered, “What, you need a big tough tom to defend you?” Piperwing wasn’t a mean cat, but she didn’t stand for anyone doubting she-cats. She’d been doubted because of her gender and size all her life, and Piperwing had never turned down an opportunity to fight for her pride. After her jeer, the Thunderclan she-cat threw herself at the tom, lashing out with her paw to try to land on his back and claw him.
With the Thunderclan cat fallen for a moment, Honeythistle quickly took time to give Dovecoo and once-over look. His eyes trailed her form, making sure she was alright. When his eyes caught that she had a scar on her shoulder, trickle of blood dripping, his features morphed into something unreadable. It was a good thing that Dovecoo was hiding - at least trying her best to hide, despite her snowy fur being much too easy to detect. Honeythistle growled, slowly ready to approach the she cat. She looked a bit...lost for a moment when she was thrown to the side. “Don’t worry about her.” He snarled, unsheathing his claws to prepare for another attack. His opponent was a small little thing, for sure. Beating her would be as easy as crushing an insect. “You better hope you make it alive.” Honeythistle was already impatient, and with this battle going on, it only made him even more upset. Especially since Dovecoo was here! Honeythistle didn’t think traveling to the gathering would turn so deadly, but here two clans was; battling. If it was going to be anything like this, perhaps all his mates should be staying back at camp. At the same moment the she cat threw herself towards him, Honeythistle was charging at her. She was much slender than him, able to throw a perfect hit with sharp claws. Honeythistle has tensed upon the impact. He had twisted his body around to snap his jaws at the she cat. Bringing up a paw, the tom furiously struck, aiming to unbalance or hurt his opponent.

Brokencreek's eyes skimmed the fighting cats, assessing their size and strength. None of them are good enough, he thought with disgust. None of them except.... His eyes strayed to the group of cats in the center of the battle and his kinked tail lashed. An ambitious opponent, even for him, but he couldn't let this opportunity go to waste. In a flash black fur and green eyes, he leaped at Passionstar, teeth bared and claws outstretched.

@Constellation (sorry this took a while!)
[Haha! He’s still Passionblaze in the battle c: ]
After throwing aside another Shadowclan warrior, Passionblaze was immediately ready to clash into another one. If his mind had been sober, he would had realized how wrong this was. He had no right to start a fight, but the chanting inside his mind thought otherwise. Someone had to address this issue. Passionblaze couldn’t allow two clans to attack them surprisingly and not expect for them to get revenge. Sure, they had won, but Passionblaze was not happy with the bloodshed and lost warriors at the expense of Windclan and Shadowclan. Now, he started a fight. One that he will finish. Breathing heavily, Passionblaze was met with green eyes in the distance. Another Shadowclan cat looking to be humiliated? Passionblaze whiskers twitched with a sadistic feel, and he prepared himself into a battle stance upon the hungry eyes of the Shadowclan warrior. Almost taunting his opponent to lunge toward him. In a flash, Passionblaze was caught off guard for a moment, he took a powerful blow to the ground. Using the strength in his legs, he kicked the Shadowclan warrior off him, snarling. Passionblaze scrambles to his paws, all feeling of pain blinded to him. He didn’t even take a moment to recover from his daze as he charged toward the Shadowclan warrior to claw at him.

——

Rain was pouring heavily. It would had been a nice time to sit and admire the powerful weather if it wasn’t a battle going on. Passionblaze had finished knocking aside a random Shadowclan warrior, and he was ready to put pain to others. With the rain, it was a blinding thing. Droplets covered his vision, causing him to blink more frequently than he needed to. All around him he could hear the ferocious growls, the deadly noise when a cat’s form impacted the ground. It was getting out of control! Blinking his eyes once more, Passionblaze ran blindly to find another Thunderclan warrior. They needed backup...quicker than he thought. He just hoped Riverclan was ready to come to their aid once more. His heavy paws slapped the ground, splashing deep puddles and soggy dirt. “Hey, you!” He boomed, not really knowing who he was addressing. He knew they were Thunderclan by their melting scent. Darkening and thundering rain, it was truly hard to tell what was before you. “Go get help from Fallenstar!” He ordered, his pelt completely wet, clinging to his frame.

As Leopardpaw approached Ashnose and saw the reluctance in his face, she felt her own unease stirring in her stomach. This wasn't a fight that should have happened, but it was inevitable after Shadowclan's pointless involvement in the attack on Thunderclan. The bengal apprentice tried to not let that emotion show on her face, and snarled, injecting a fierce town into her voice, "If Starclan was going to be angry they would have been angry the moment you attacked out camp." Leopardpaw hesitated for a moment to circle closer to the dark grey tom, "And don't forget, Shadowclan started this fight. Starclan wouldn't want us to stand here and be slaughtered." Leopardpaw's short fur bristled and her tail thrashed behind her, knewing this would be her one chance to win this fight for her mentor, and that she would need to attack first since her opponent suddenly seemed morally upstanding. Leopardpaw stood at an angle, head turned to study him with one narrowed eye. Then without giving Ashnose too much time to respond, she darted forwards, claws outstretched aiming for his shoulder, hoping for a position to be able to wrestle him to the ground.

Emberpaw prowled at the rear of the Shadowclan congregation, and when they came upon Thunderclan her tail thrashed in anticipation. She had not fought in the invasion on the Thunderclan camp, and she was desperate for an oppurtunity to speed up her training. When the clans sprung to life, she bounded around the outskirts of the fight, looking for an open and equal opponent. Her eyes settled on a silky-furred white tom, with a scar stretching across his shoulder. Emberpaw felt as thought she recognized him, but couldn't name him. She shrugged, all Thunderclan apprentices looked, smelled and acted the same. Without engaging in any unnecesary wordplay like many others around her were, she darted towards Snowpaw, her tail streaming out behind and her and her body low to the ground. She pulled one paw into the air to aim for his ear, thinking to herself she'd leave her mark in this fight by leaving her mark on her opponent. @Spiral Whirl

The tom circled Deerfrost, his golden-orange pelt already drenched in rain.He lashed his tail, eyes narrowing as his muscles tensed up. His lip stuck above his snaggletooth, probably making the tom look a bit startling to anyone who might look. He circled the she-cat again, taunting her to make the first move. He was prepared for any fight she had though, fur standing on end and eyes wide open.

"What are you going to do now, lizardbrain? Shadowclan will beat your clan easy." He taunted, looking over Shadowclan's past defeats. Thunderclan put their paws where they didn't belong according to Snarlfang, and made his skin crawl. He crouched lower as he circled the she-cat again, yellow eyes glowing in the dim light. His gaze was fixed on the molly, waiting for her to make a move towards him and fight, or see if she would flee like a kitten.

(Hope you don't mind me fighting you)
(No not at all.)

Deerfrost stood her ground as the tom approched her, her brown gold hued eyes narrowed as the ShadowClan tom began to circle. Unsheathing her claws she wanted for the right moment to strike. The molly's tri colored pelt was drenched from the heavy rain soaking her to the bone. "It's not my flat ShadowClanners are mouse brained. Maybe if you never attacked us Passionblaze wouldn't have been tempted to attack your excuse for a leader." She shot back at the tom as he insulted Passionblaze and ThunderClan. Deerfrost wouldn't stand for that, insulting her Clan. It was true that she didn't enjoy spending time with them but it was her Clan, her home and her life. She wouldn't have anyone insulting ThunderClan,
that would not happen on her watch. Letting her tail lash slowly she kept a reallclose eye on Snarlefang. With his next comment she scuffed. "Really? A kit can tell you won't." She told him rolling her eyes almost. "Please, ShadowClan hasn't got a chance. They don't have any rabbit chacers to protect them, this time. Needless to reminded you that we won last time." The molly sneered a hiss edging in her voice. She was ready for him to attack already but apparently he was mouse hearted or something. Growing tired of their 'chat' Deerfrost jumped at the tom who was haft crouched. With her unsheathed claws she aimed to pin him along with give him a few scratches. She didn't want to kill him per say,
just teach him a lessen.

She believed that Shadowclan did what they had to do. She always felt some manner of guilt after a battle for all of the cats who died, but now that she was deputy she was more directly the cause of some of the deaths. Not to mention the injuries she caused were compounded since her status as deputy made cats target her. Anger got the better of her and Halfgaze let out a yowl as she lunged and skillfully threw herself at her opponent, attempting to knock him to the ground and pin him with her claws to his throat. If successful, the move would easily set her up for a killing blow. “I do not regret my clan’s actions and I stand by my leader. If you want someone to blame, look no further than your own clan’s leadership.”

It was far more likely that she would fight him off long enough to engage in battle with a different cat so he would also move on. Perhaps she should’ve gone on defense, but Cranewing’s philosophy was that the best defense was a good offense. With that in mind, she ignored his threat and leaped, catching her claws on his shoulder to turn herself up into his back. The warrior’s snapping jaws missed her closely, but his heavy paw hit her squarely in the flank. All the air was pushed for Cranewing’s lungs as she was thrown off of the other cat. She hit the ground with a heavy thud and lay stunned for a moment. Her mind screamed at her limbs to move before her opponent could pin her, but she was still dazed. Finally, she regained movement and Cranewing scrambled to her paws and backed away from the other warrior to organize her thoughts and assess her wounds. Blood was still trickling from her ear and a new gash on her forehead poured the sticky substance down the side of her head. The shoulder she’d landed on was starting to hurt terribly but no wound was visible. Cranewing worries that there was some type of internal injury that the adrenaline masked, but she decided to deal with it later. The tom’s blow had been mostly with his paw pad, but some claw marks still bled on her side. Letting out a low growl, Cranewing lunged again with her claws aiming for his face.

Her eyes settled on a silky-furred white tom, with a scar stretching across his shoulder. Emberpaw felt as thought she recognized him, but couldn't name him. She shrugged, all Thunderclan apprentices looked, smelled and acted the same. Without engaging in any unnecessary wordplay like many others around her were, she darted towards Snowpaw, her tail streaming out behind and her and her body low to the ground. She pulled one paw into the air to aim for his ear, thinking to herself she'd leave her mark in this fight by leaving her mark on her opponent. @Spiral Whirl
Snowpaw was minding his own business in the battle, well trying to. He didn't want to fight, while he was so keen on it last time... it got out of hand in his point of view. Snowpaw unsheathed his claws, maybe he should try to help someone out? No one really noticed the white furred apprentice which was a shocking thing to him. He stood out. He wasn't exactly the kind to well, talk while he fought. Unless he was begging for mercy, then nope. Snowpaw at the last second heard a noise, he jumped away but not enough to where his attacker would miss. A piece of his left ear was torn off, Snowpaw looked at it. At least it isn't the other ear. He realized that he was in a battle, right now. Right now. He glared at the she-cat, assuming it was a apprentice closed to his age. He darted away, before twisting around. He aim for her side, bringing his claws up to at least injure her side. He noticed that in battle his weakness was his side and belly. While already knowing about his left deaf ear. Snowpaw needed to keep a eye on it if she figured it out. For one thing, he wasn't someone who was competitive but hated losing something. Being in last place, it didn't even have to be first! Just not last place.

As he realized this and saw Halfgaze's patience with him snap, he hurled himself out of the way, rolling away from the deputies experienced claws. "I never said I was pleased with how everything is being handled!" He snarled at her. "I never said I was happy that the leaders and deputies of these clans acting like apprentices quarreling over a scrap of prey." He hissed as he stalked toward her. "I do not approve of it, and best bet I'll be bringing up my displeasure of how things have been handled unlike you, standing by your leader's poor choices." The russet colored tom flicked his tail back and forth contemplating whether or not he wanted to really hard this she-cat. He knew, in the back of his mind, Halfgaze may not have that much authority to speak over her leader's choices but she didn't even try to advice her leader like a good deputy should.
