Kaira had zoned out a bit as he watched Portia and Oni spar but as soon as Iggy said something he immediately turned his head to respond,"Which is why we watch, and learn. If we figure out what our a opponent is bad at we have a one hundred percent better chance of crushing them then we did before."His voice had become more monotone and serious than normal and he didn't have the same happy go-lucky look instead switching out for a more mature and serious one.

"That ones To Small, That one Is to Wide....Hm, Well, there's only one way to Find out!" He said, Before Diving into the Nearest portals. When he was Flung Face first into the Floor, he laughed. "Forgot you Could manipulate them....Heh, This is like bobbing for apples.." He said, Before turning to the next portal. "I Know you like to Influence the battle from a distance, but come on, isn't hiding in a void for this long a little to much?" He said, bracing for attack

Iggy frowned and nodded. "I think I'll take on a different teacher though," he insisted with a sigh. "Besides, we do need to get to know our other teachers, right?" Iggy looked over at Orchid, and chuckled. He understood how she felt completely.

Portia grinned as he was flung away from her portals. Only she could enter them. It wasn't convieniant for any teammates she had in battle, though. Portia shook off her distraction, and narrowed her eyes, waiting for him to turn away. Now! Portia came out of the portal in front of him. A bold move, but she suspected he would be expecting a surprise attack. Portia swung her staff.

Qrow Stumbled Back a step, before regaining balance quickly. "Ah, How nice of you to Grace us with your Presence!" He Said, Before Drawing his Sword again. with one quick motion of his hand, the blade slipped off, and fell to the floor with a thump. Now all he held seemed to be the Hilt, Well, before he Pressed a button on it, and it seemed to extend Drasticly, About Two thirds the size of her staff, and it looked a lot like a police baton. "Heh, Like you said. Don't want to Hurt anyone." He said, Kicking the blade of his sword out of the arena, Smirking a bit. He Then Held it out, and smiled, putting one hand behind his back. "En Guard!" He said Quietly, Still Smiling.

"True, true," he began. "But it's better than having to deal with Portia's portal tactic." Iggy reduced his flame to a small flicker, saving his burn. With that, the rocks on his body cooled a bit. Now he was a grey-red color. Odd, but comfortable. Iggy closed his eyes, and sighed. Keeping a flame all day was a bit of work. Maybe he should stay normal all day instead. Only bursting into flames when he needed. He mostly did that when he was excited. If only he didn't look so odd without flames, then he would be confident enough to stay comfortable all day. Maybe when he spent a few more days with his classmates. Iggy, suddenly feeling self-conscious, rekindled his flame, turning back to the dark red he was before.

Portia smiled, twirling her staff with both hands. This would be a challenge. "Very good. I wasn't planning to be stabbed today," she joked. In unison with the end of her joke, Portia struck with her staff to the right, to the left, and finally to the bottom, hoping to trip him up. It was a basic move, or at least it was to her. Or maybe her teacher. Her teacher had been a specialist in martial arts, and had taught her this first. For others it could be quite advanced.
