Minnowkit wanted to get to know her siblings..to the best of her abilities. She pawed at their faces and felt their tails, nuzzling their pelts. Trying to get the texture and length, and stuff, down. Minnowkit didn't know this would frighten her greatly when her eyes opened and she saw the great, huge world. Minnowkit was confined to a shield of darkness, unable to see, or hear. Adderkit was content to wait, but he was also wanting to explore. He nuzzled deeper into the nest of his mother, but then let out a small sneeze when some of Minnowkit's fur brushed his nose.

The noise she could hear startled the tiny she-kit, who squeaked and burrowed deeper into her mothers fur, tail flicking as she hoped it wasn't something dangerous. After realizing it was something from her siblings, she relaxed.

Adderkit felt Minnowkit's tail flick, but he didn't want to question it. He was ready to sleep and nurse until he was big enough to actually get somewhere on his legs.

Swiftcry, a white and ginger patched she-cat, walked into the clearing from the warriors den. The she-cat could be described with many words, sweet, motherly, kind, understanding, but also fierce and a bit snappy at some points. She glanced around for somebody to talk with, not feeling like sitting there awkwardly quiet. She smiled slightly, spotting a cat she realized as Rosefern. "Hello, Rosefern!" She grinned, dipping her head slightly in a greeting. She wad glad this cat wasn't hostile, tensions were making cats even hostile to their Clanmates. Swiftcry really disliked it, but she couldn't stop it by herself.

Rosefern gave a smile,” How’s your day been so far.” She meowed she never had been a queen but many cats called her motherly, she thought that was intrequing, as after all, she had only mentored one apprentice, and in her oppinion she was too soft on him, so she spoke to Snowstar and requested to never recieve another apprentice again. She loved mentoring, but she felt she couldn’t prepare them well for battle or being tough at times, it was a skill she lacked and wished she had.

"You'd better!" Mintkit giggled and stopped running so that he could tackle-hug her, squealing with delight when he did. "Cutie? Nah, boy, I'm fierce. Rawr!" She gave that cute little growl she'd been working on, and rolled her eyes at herself. "Working on it, anyway. But wow! You're a warrior now. That's amazing! Marshjump is a great name." She added passionately, pressing her nose into his chest as she usually did, inhaling his familiar scent before pulling back with a grin. She was so glad to have her best friend there, and so, so happy for him. He was a warrior! That was a great accomplishment and she was sure Marshump had earned it. Of course he'd earned it. He was loyal, and brave, and a great fighter; Each one Mintkit knew from experience. The young Siamese purred, gazing up at her best friend with clear affection in her eyes. "You really deserve it, Marshy. You're gonna be a great warrior." She murmured, her voice filled with such certainty for her best friend.

The tom wrapped his paws around Mintkit in that protective shell, a big-brother type of move, and then smiled at her as she spoke. "Ha, your fierceness needs a LOT of work. Like, a ton." He purred, tapping her on the head with a paw, a purr rumbling in his chest. Being a warrior now, Marshjump wasn't sure whether or not it was considered 'right' for him to be hanging out with Mintkit, but then again... he had always been one for defying expectations. He remembered that he hadn't been expected to become a warrior so early (and yes, he was young for a warrior) but Marshjump had anyways. He had trained hard and he had proven that he was ready. "Thank you, lil' Minty. That means a lot." He mewed, a small smile coming across his face as he looked over his young friend. She was encouraging him. She would encourage him throughout this time, and Marshjump was confident that she was the perfect friend. Even more confident then he had already been. No, there was no way that he could give up Mintkit - ever. He needed her, and... if he wasn't mistaken... she needed him as well. At the moment, Marshpaw relied on Mintkit as one might rely on a vital need for life. And for his emotional life, she was a vital need.

Morningblue gazed up at the Highpeak as Snowstar addressed the clan. It was a small comfort to know that in spite of the chaos in the clans right now, life would still go on: kits would become apprentices, apprentices would become warriors, and right now, that was what Thunderclan needed, good strong warriors. With now more warning than that, the grey tom began loping toward the camp enterance, leaving Lynxpaw to follow after him.

Lynxpaw grinned. Her eyes shone with pure awe and amazement, and she wanted to sprint through the territory forever and let everything sink in. She forced herself to remain still, though, and wait for Morningblue's directions. She held back a purr, her tail curling, and she picks her ears. She touched her nose to his. She would have chose him to be her mentor, anyway, but she wouldn't have said that..yet. "Okay!" She chirped. Her official training! She was ecstatic, but she made herself look just a a bit more calm than she felt on the inside. Lynxpaw followed her mentor with one glance back towards the other apprentices. She didn't see Leafpaw, which made her spirit falter a bit, but she continued towards her mentor.
