Hello, hello. It is me, Wingnettle, with an idea in mind that hopefully will turn into a good plot for the future.

Dunecall (mine) and Swiftfire (@Tiabirb) are developing a particular relationship: the girl is slowly noticing she actually likes him in a romantic way, but Dunecall is... kinda blind to it. Doesn't have a good sense of romance, we can say.

So, what if Dunecall fell in love with another cat who likes Swiftfire? What interesting relationship could these three potentially develop?

So... Swift does like Dune. Dune doesn't realize that, and instead focuses his likes on Azaleadrizzle, who likes Swift instead. And that's obvious as well. There might be jealousy between Swift and Azalea, but not by Dunecall. Instead, he'll chase Azalea until he realizes that his friend Swift actually likes him - this will change the cards and Dunecall will start slowly to fall in love with her, too. But it'll take him a good while to realize it!

Upon looking over Azaleadrizzle's link, I can see a possible one-way liking forming. Swiftfire is a very collected sort of cat. If something phases her or bothers her, she isn't likely to express or show it until she decides to say something.

She's a pretty straightforward gal. Her cool and calm could draw in a nervous wreck like Azaleadrizzle, but Swift definitely would not share the same sentiment.

On the other hand, I can see Dunecall falling for Azaleadrizzle a little more quickly than he would for Swiftfire, given that Swiftfire isn't emotionally open or willing to discuss her feelings as of this time. But Azalea's more open range of emotions benefits her in that department.

That's just how I see the potential dynamic filling in itself from my own knowledge of the characters involved.

Dune could fall for Azalea at first, but then I can see him change his feelings for Swift. A bit like Gray Wing did with Turtle Tail, if you read Dawn of the clans?
