Spade’s Little Tree Den
The young tin stretched slowly as he exited the trunk of the tree. The warm smell of his den was inviting to the sleep laiden Tom cat as he woke himself. He breathed in deeply, relishing the sweet smell of the meadow. He looked up to the sky, seeing the large white billowing clouds that carried the promise of rain with the. He could almost smell the rain too. Everything carried a moist scent to it today. The white Tom, with sparse black markings sat down suddenly, knowing at the base of his tail. “Stupid flea bagged fleas. I swear I’m going to squish you all.” He cursed as he knawed, producing a harsh appearance to the gebtle scenery around his m. @ Fireleaf

Spade jumped a little at the sound of the cat behind him. “Oh good morning Winter.” He said with a grin. The black and white cat had slowed his breathing again. “I didn’t know you were up.”

Spade followed closely after the other, trailing behind them as to let them lead. He flicked his dark grey colored ears to listen for sounds that might key him to the clues of prey nearby. He blinked softly, his break wn optics scanning the scattered bushes around them. He paused momentarily, sniffing at the ground like a hound dog searching for a scent. “Found anything?” Spade whispered to Winter.
