"WHY THE HECK ARE YOU HERE?" [private i think]
Yellowpaw had seemed fallen asleep a while ago, so he thought nothing of waking up in the apprentices. When he looked around, his vision still slightly blurry, he noticed the empty den. Must've woken up last. He thought, hoping that he hadn't missed anything.
He got up and padded around the quiet camp, trampling a plant or two. The camp was empty, which was... unusual. His clanmates must have been attacked! He could try to save them or something, it would get him the notoriousness he wanted badly. He showed excitement at first, his tail erect, but soon he realized there was no blood. No blood meant no battle. Then... did that mean they left? Without bothering to tell him! How rude! But there was no scent of anyone...?
He knew something was up. He walked around the empty camp, searching for any clues of what had happened to Shadowclan. Alas, he found literally nothing.There was one place the cat had not checked yet; the territory. Without a thought, he trotted to the tunnel. He stumbled at what he saw.
"Drippingpelt?!"

Death was always something. StarClan was something. It wasn't bad, just... It was lonely.
Drippingpelt had no one to talk to. So she would finally try and see the ones she cared about. First up was Yellowpaw. Her apprentice.
The black-and-white she-cat slowly appeared into the territory of ShadowClan. She knew she was in a dream. She walked around for a while, before hearing the voice she had missed.
"Yellowpaw?"

But wasn't that impossible? Wildtwist had killed her, right? It didn't matter how she was there, it mattered that she was there. He bounded over excitedly.
"Drippingpelt! I thought you were dead!"

Drippingpelt watched her former apprentice think she had survived, and he seemed so happy. She smiled at this. Her? Smiling? How rare was that? If she wasn't around Starrylight of course.
"Yellowpaw... I am dead. This is a dream." Did he not see the stars in her pelt? All her scars were gone? She looked healthy and 100% fine? "But we can pretend I survived if you want. I'm happy to see you happy."

Oh. Well, at least Drippingpelt was fine. Although he wasn't sure how he missed all the 'I'm dead' indicators.
"Oh! Don't worry, I'll get revenge on Chubpaw and that Thrunderclan murderer, although adding 'murder' to the end of thunderclan doesn't really narrow it down at all." He growled.
He couldn't simply 'pretend' Drippingpelt was still alive. But he could pretend that nothing had ever happened, despite them being the same thing.
